1. Is there a list of planets currently being terraformed?

There is now:

California Minor
Atka
Harris
Miura
Ayr

2. Are alien organisms used in the terraforming process on ALL of these planets, or just some of them?

Alien Organisms make the Terraforming process accelerate up to ten times as fast. Their useful porperties were discovered on accident originally but that's another story. Yes is the answer to your question, but No is the answer to the question "Do they have to be used"

3. Have alien organisms been used on any planets on which terraforming is now complete?

Nobody knows as no planet that's undergone terraforming is complete. All other inhabited Planets were natural anomoles that Human's discovered by chance. The theory is that they aren't supposed to be used after the process is complete, but there are rumors suggesting otherwise....

The new Planetform faction we've developed hope to open up Terraforming contracts that will change the face of the mod should the Admins allow. All factions hold fire your applications for now as we don't plan to open it before were a bit more experienced, but rest assured we intend to take each contract very, very seriousley.

On the subject of alien organisms, California Minor ships them in, apparently from Omicron Beta, in addition to which, Silver is also required for terraforming operations to generate the atmosphere ( clouds ), so both are required to Terraform any planet.

Alien Organsims = Land forming;
Silver = Atmosphere Forming.

Actually, Alien Organisms are shipped in from Waterloo and Newark, which are brought from Samura at Kurile or Freeport 6, which gets its supply from Tau-37. These little things are used to stimulate an ecosystem. Because they adapt so fast and live in extreme environments, they evolve extremely quickly and form new life on the planets, be it plant or animal.

Silver, on the other hand, is used for cloud seeding. Terraforming Gases are used to create an atmosphere, however, in order to create a realistic, cyclical atmosphere, Silver is sprayed into the air to create clouds. Without that cycle, the ecosystem couldn't survive. So, Silver isn't really used for that, but rather it is used for both land and atmosphere.

They buy them from the Outcasts, which get them from Omicron Beta. Houses can't just up and get materials from the Outcasts, afterall. :D

Pittsburgh is covered by a single vast desert, broken only by large rocky outcroppings that have yet to be consumed by the sand. Without any ice asteroids in close proximity, the planet was not considered a good candidate for terraforming and remained sparsely populated until a full-scale mineral survey in 650 AS pinpointed deposits of Boron in the form of borax salts deep within the Corridera Plateau. A mining operation was established on the planet in 660 AS by Deep Space Engineering to exploit these deposits, and it is now the only raw material extraction facility within Liberty space.

So, the Pittsburgh info card mentions terraforming, but... Well, okay. What's going on there? Did they or did they not terraform Pittsburgh?

The wiki says Junyo is also under terraforming (or perhaps has already been terraformed, since it can produce luxury food).
