I'm not quite sure, is this also something against OC invasions of Gamma? Cause as far as I am aware that was being done since this server basically came online for the first time... so is that all of a sudden frowned upon now?

Given this, what might be advisable is for the Corsairs to make use of their nice bombers.
That is perhaps the only solution to this I can see. Perhaps then, the capital ship enthusiasts would then switch to ships which would last somewhat longer in combat.
Or perhaps not, and you'd all just have fun blowing them up.
I agree with Ivan there, stationing ships at the FP is a little bit off, except if you are heading home from beating the hell out of the 'sairs down at crete and now need to hurry up with logging off.
But since we are talking about stopping bad behaviour: Keep an eye for the server numbers when you are going to raid alpha. It's not hard to brag with wins while you could field 30 ships and the other side had only 6 and couldn't send in reinforcements due to a full server. I remember times when we informed the other side beforehand, what about getting back to this?

Damn you mean I missed out on ambushing an OC fleet that clearly crossed the Sigmas. Oi! that would have been fun, they wouldn't have made it to Theta if I was on with a couple wingmen. I like the Hispanics fighting their war through our space and us getting all mad and ambusing them both, oh those were the Vanilla days.... Well I'll have to let my group know that a fleet slipped by us and pull out the "education stick"

This. Better yet, make Guard IDs not be able to operate past Eta. Hence, only fighter-bomber raids. This will prevent Outcasts from clogging Theta with capital ships. That way, the Corsairs take the heat for stray capfire.:)

Biggest problem ( And think it was mentioned b4) is BOTH sides have numerous amounts of players that don't give a damn about role play, don't respect the official factions & probably don't use or read the forums.
This has been going on for months now, Sair cap fleet of LOLWUTTERS will hit Alpha.. hours later a Cap fleet of LOLWUTTING OC's hit Gamma.. and the cycle just continues... Neither side is seemingly able to control their indies from sending cap-ships all over Sirius
Too bad Cannon couldn't make a mod change that would render OC weapons useless in Gamma & Sair weapons useless in Alpha.. then we'd HAVE to fight in Gama or maybe sig 19
Or possibly add like 20 weapons platforms in front of the jump holes in Eta for each side that would obliterate any ship going to the others home system..
