' Wrote:The scariest game I have ever played is the original Alies Versus Predator throughout the Marine campaign. You are literally crapping yourself throughout the entire game, with eerie silence save for the dripping of water and the steady pulse of your scanner. Occasionally you'll hear a door banging in the distance or a spooky pitter patter of feet in some nearby vent shaft or corridor.
Yep, exactly same choice for me
AvP1 (2 was nowhere near), marine on the most difficult level, 1 AM, sound on max
Igiss says: Martin, you give them a finger, they bite off your arm.
Zealot Wrote:Just go play the game and have fun dammit.
Treewyrm Wrote:all in all the conclusion is that disco doesn't need antagonist factions, it doesn't need phantoms, it doesn't need nomads, it doesn't need coalition and it doesn't need many other things, no AIs, the game is hijacked by morons to confuse the game with their dickwaving generic competition games mixed up with troll-of-the-day.
System Shock 2 (We aaare...we aaare, we aare....)
AvP1 (Beep, beep, beep, beepbeepbeep *redscreen*)
Dungeons & Dragons online (Really, those traps are scary)
Well FEAR 1 had some good moments
Silent Hill 3 of course...
But the most fun part was playing as an Alien in multiplayer - and scaring the poo out of others! I could hear people literally screaming in the internet cafe (internet cafe, how old is that!) when I jumped on them!
"Zomg god he is like a f***ing cockroach! I emptied my gun into him - he was just there now he is gone wft dude!"
"Windmills" Campaign for Freepsace 2 SCP.
Not scary, but an epic mindscrew.
For scary, ehh.. I'm playing Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl with the Oblivion Lost mod. Exploring at night with a flashlight and running into a Zombie horde is not fun. Especially when you have the Controller there doing his psychic thing.
