Why don't we just take caps (except gunboats) out of the game? it would make life so much easier on everyone, then there would be no need for power trading and all of that other OORP nonsense. Reserve BS's for NPC's. We can then balance gunboats to be taken down by ganks of fighters easily but kill bombers (take refire rate down on GB weapons). Thus making it essential that you have an escort thus promoting better RP. Then people can get on with the game instead of being bogged down trying to afford something that really only limits them. Another good thing I can see about this is that once all of the PvP whores see that there are no BS's anymore they'll go to another server and leave us in peace.

No. PvP whores are here because there are people here. People won't leave, PvP whores wont leave. Take away their ships, then what about the lolboats, Missile whores, etc.? If we want people to leave first grounds is upping the english language standard, and promoting a real RP playerbase, because players are the problems, not caps. That's probably not the direction anyone's really willing to go, so we're back to promotional ideas.

RP with a man for a day, get RP for a day. Teach RP, and there will be more RP. Action towards the community (players) is the correct view to be taken upon anyone who wants PvP whores out, real RP instated, english players etc. etc. So after writing a sanction report about them, go back and help them realize what they should do. You cant help if you don't try.

Maybe I'll break my Hiatus and create a neutralized ship to try and repair what is broken, and with a little bit of research maybe a real answer can be brought forth to repair what's happened so far.

why not just have a thread with bs rp stories and some designated fellow with the time to read them. if the story was good, the player that wrote it would recieve some additional funding from the admins, if it's not very time consuming.

i mean programming a discount like that might take a lot mroe time cant it?

I'd like to think I'm known for RPing my caps (Mainly the Immortal.Hunter and the [LN]-LNS-San.Francisco) and yet I have no RP for the San Francisco on the forums, does that mean I shouldn't have it?

Too much time is being taken to shoot down other ideas or bring up mute points, without suggestion for new methods.

The only way I can see a change in action that keeps admins happy, RP players happy, and potentially reducing an amazingly work effort to get a capital ship is promotion of better roleplay, meaning a more edifying approach to lolwuts, as well as very strong sanctions against capital ship users who prove themselves as unfit for 'command' so to speak in game. They without a doubt should be held up to a higher standard, as they're technically playing as thousands of disciplined pilots and such working together. Captains IRL who are unfit for command are brought down, the same should be looked at here. We won't be getting rid of all of them, since many offenses go without sanction, but who's going to keep acting up if their ship gets deleted sided with a 30 day ban?
