Facilities are currently being retrofitted by Kishiro for use of Nago station by the Imperial Naval Forces. Quartermasters from ~Osaka~ are currently overseeing these efforts.
Estimated time to completion of retrofit: 48 hours. Succeeding orders from Imperial command are pending for pilot assignments.
Initial recon of the front lines indicated activity and a small scirmish occured. Recon pilot was forced to remain at the Tau-29 gate where friendly forces where strongest. The recon wing ilicited a response and a hit and run raid from the SFGB King's Lynn. A short exchange ended in disengagement by both parties.
Are my fellow warriors and traders having difficulty logging into the KNF Forum Site?
If so, please respond.
If not, perhaps we should rename it "Tombstone".

Which is starting to get me worried has to how many of our number are still with us. All personnel authorised for recruiting should continue to keep their eyes open. An on-line KNF census will be conducted very soon.
My exercises in the Taus have revealed a considerable arms build up by the Outcasts. My surveys of Tau-37 ilicited no less than 2 Outcast Destroyers with 2 GOR fighter escorts. It is a pity I wasn't able to test my skills against the infamous fighter pilots as I was too busy dodging cruiser missles to even take a snap shot. Repairs to my fighter are completed even as I write this and I am eager to return to duty.
Now I must teach these Kishiro workers of the importance their work is to the Emperor.
Investigation of the Tau-31 situation confirmed reports of a huge military build-up as well as strong Outcast presence. High numbers of Bretonian Templar fighters (approx 12) dropped the Hiryu's shields at one point though the ship prevailed. Futher exploration found the Holman Outpost very well defended ((see screenshot)).

Back in New Tokyo space Telecaster and Blazer were spotted near Roppongi station and engaged. The two Blood Dragon Kusari Gunboats eventually overpowered the Hiryu after a very lengthy battle. Repairs to the Hiryu are proceeding to schedule.
Thanks to these battles analysis of the the Cruiser Flack Turret has been completed.
Task force ~Osaka~ executed a patrol of the Leeds Gate blockade early this morning. Intel had reported possible presence of an elite arm of the Bretonian military, the SF, in Tau 31. Brief glimpses on radar were the only signals detected. There was a possible incursion on the Bretonian front by a pair of Liberty Rogue pirates which must have kept the SF forces occupied during our patrol.
A call from the Kyushu police pulled pilot Jester's rage away from the front just as ~Osaka~ was being relieved by task force ~Okinawa~
My captain honored me to submit this report on our expansion efforts in the Taus. The captain wished to patrol tau 31 and 23 in his personal fighter so I set to making up the watch list while he was gone. With the captain an entire system away we recieved intelligence from State Police units in Kyushu claiming to have seen an Outcast vessel near the trade lanes. ~Osaka~ was the only vessel within range of the threat. We immediately sent the recall code to Captain Nebotuda an began preperations for departure. I confirmed with weapons control our new systems where operational and awaited the captain.
When the captain returned we departed for Kyushu. We located the Outcast destroyer .Almada lurking just outside sensor range of Nansei. Noting multiple civilians and Liberty Naval officers in its hold, we engaged in rescue operations and prepared boarding parties. Gun crews began targeting sheilds while the captain ordered the manuevers. .Almada showed no intention of leaving Kusari space and a battle ensued. .Almada was destroyed after approximately 12 minutes of combat. Civilians and LIbertians were recovered.
More incursions further into Kusari space by Phantom vessels further drew our forces away from the front. ~Osaka~ was joined by the deLuna and pilot Typhoon. KNT Kobayashi Maru joined in a hunt for the hiding Phantoms as well. One phantom fighter was intercepted and destroyed. Reports persisted of another Phantom in New Tokyo but the task force was overdue for relieve in Tau-29 so we departed.
Threats bring the Kusari naval high command great humorous pleasure.
In other matters...
Guidelines on deployment.
While maintaining military superiority in the Tau systems is vital, first priority is given to defending the highly populated inner planets. Failure at that task is inconceivable. Patrols are to be conducted in both inner Kusari and Tau space. Naval groups will receive deployment rotation schedules allowing KNF officers to split their time between defence and offence duties as needed.
This homble pilot reports all readiness for delployment with one small glitch in my targeting computer. I am coming up as a Corsair, tho the KNF are just as full and I am currently out of my patrol route to try to fix the problem. Short incursions into Sigma13 and 19 can be expected till this glitch has worked itself out.
