Weapons grouping is better. The snac flies way slower than any guns you might have selected, and the targeting reticle is in a different location. Try it. While shooting at someone, use weapons grouping to switch from your guns to your snac, the reticle shifts.

The X3's got a bit of a learning curve to it, I'll grant that, but as far as win in slowing down my mouse cursor to model/edit pictures goes, it's pure epicness.

Yes weapon grouping is pretty much a necessity, I take it a step further by having all wepon groups capable of firing independantly at the click of a mouse button without the extra click of switching groups. This brought my gaming ability to new heights over a year ago but also turned me into one of the dreaded SNAC snipers that's groaned about. :P
