Addendum: Hostility status has been reached by both sides. As before, engage HF only if they enter Liberty space or they fire upon you. Maintain alert status since the final word has not come down from their boss.

Officers,

I received my new vessel and am currently adjusting to how it feels. I have completed today's patrol and this is my report. A Helghast pilot attacked lawful individuals in the space above Houston and may have scared off a few traders and low level pilots. I responded to those reports and engaged the pirate. However, NPC friendly fire brought down my ship. After re-spawning the said individual was badly damaged and began to run. A gentleman spotted his sorry excuse for a ship and finished him off. The pirate was flying a Sabre VHF, I had to make do with the Guardian VHF issued to me. I would also like to point out a large number of HF in the Magellan region, not sure of their intentions though. 6 hours after those events I have received my Avenger VHF.
