I should have SSed everything. Could be a guideline to perfect sense-making roleplay!
Meeting my Wrath in your corsair gunboat and having the big mouth due to beeing the one with the bigger guns was fun.
Suddenly facing a Gunboat and a Cruiser out of nowhere made you turning your mind.
Surrendering to survive this day, due to beeing hopelessly outnumbered was just epic.
Also the following arrest of you and your crew without a single line of metagaming.
I am going to buy a hat now, so I can raise it.
Playing along the whole story, which appears when beeing boarded and arrested, does not happen often.
Hopefully we will see a little story regarding your character, on how he is going to get out of this big trouble.

Stand up Christian Naggar.
You are accused of threatening a Rheinland Police Officer, being a captain of a well known corsair pirate gunboat [IP]Svarog and to infringe obligatory supervision of your 13 year old son Jason.
Do you plead Guilty?
Yes, I do, Ma`am Judge
We have examined the logfiles of the involved Rheinland Military and Police Vessels and also that of your corsair Gunboat called [IP]Svarog.
We came to the conclusion that the incident has happened as the police report described.
Before we pronounce the judgment do you have anything to say Christian Naggar?
Yes Ma`am, I do.
First of all I am guilty and what I am most afraid of has happened. I am a bad father and almost no crime could be so bad, as being a bad father and get into a trouble were I am not longer able to take care of my beloved sun.
His Mum has left us because she had been fallen in love with another guy a more respectable guy.
Not a hard worker like me. *some laughter in the audience*
After that my daughter became very strange and she shows up with some guys which were not good for her.
My daughter Doreen finally gets pregnant from a Red Hessian guy called Ruslan.
I forbid Doreen to go with him but she don t listen.
My former wife put the blame on me. She told me I always was to inconsequent and let my children do whatever they want.
After big argues Doreen stole my only ship an eagle and has never been seen again.
I needed the ship in order to work and after I have lost it, I lost my job. After I have lost my Job I lost my home. I guess you all now the vicious circle.
No bank likes to give me a loan because I have no work and no collaterals.
We suffer from hunger and I have to take bad paid jobs in order to fill the mouth of my sun and me.
I spend all my savings in order to look for my daughter and pay a bounty hunter named Dervan Belong to search for her.
After I had an accident on a working bench I wasn t able to work for a period and need to loan some money from a loan shark.
I could t pay it back and became witness of a brutal scenario.
I had an appointment with the loan shark in order to discuss how I would be able to repay the money in the future as a guy came into the office cried out loud: you took everything I have got now I have nothing, not even my balls. At that moment I freeze for fear and didnt realize what is happening.
He puts out a gun and shot the loan shark directly in the face.
The guy dropped his weapon and run away like hell.
A few seconds later I hear loud noise from outside the room and was able to move.
I try to help the dying men, but it seems he was already dead. *some disbelieving muttering*
Suddenly I had an idea I saw my only chance is there. I searched the whole office after papers concerning my person. Some document with my name on it, some proof that I have lent some money.
The only thing I have found were the confirmation of a transaction and the papers of an auctioned gunboat called [IP]Svarog.
It seems that the bidder likes to stay anonymous and take the biddings through a third party.
A confirmation code was send and the place and time of delivery was referred.
To make it shot, Ma`am Judge.
I showed up on the delivery place to the mentioned time and took that ship.I really never thought I could do that and the only excuse I got is that I thought some guidance from above send me the opportunity to search for my daughter and to care for my sun.
I am guilty Ma`am Judge, and I will accept any judgment.
//it would be great if someone who is able too, could respond and do the final judgment
Fridrich Heinz sits in hall, looking at judge... "Sheize, Ich would be happy to see zis guy alive... If er will survive, Ich will buy him free beer from Munich"- he thought. "Judge! Ich would like to make a small notice!" " Ja? Vat, offizier? " - Judge raised an eyebrow. " Zis man haven't refused arrest, Ich bin sure er...he is innocent! Er..He has children as well. He tries to take care of them!" Fridrich sits down... He smiles and nods to Christian Naggar and wonders to his English..
"I wouldn `t intercept if this wouldn t be absolutly nessecary"
The counsel for the defense a good looking mid 30er refitting his tie is rising.
"Mr Dequery, I really do hope you are right" replied the judge.
Nathan Dequery:
"I apply a 2 day break for current unforseen matters".
Judge:
"Mr Dequery, I really do hope for you and your accreditation as a lawyer this is not one of your famous advocatic tricks. Whatever you do be sure I know to play this game even as good as you."
*the hole audience is grumgling*
"Silence in the court room!" *sound of hammer fall*
Nathan Dequery:
"Be sure Ma?am, your patience will count out and the justice will be conduces".
Judge:
"Granted!"
Several minutes later in the conference room of the defense.
"Oh my god, she is alive?"
"Yes Mr. Naggar, Dervan Belong has found your daughter she gets all the medical attention she needs."
A video is now playing:

Chief Medical Officer Dr. Edward Tesh, Responding
Greetings, Mr. Belong,
I am Dr. Edward Tesh and I am the one who is taking care of your daughter, Doreen. She is safe and resting comfortably. We put her in a detox chamber to clear the radiation from her system. There are no signs of ill effects, physically or otherwise. I'm just trying to keep her calm since nerves could well trigger an early birth. It's best for mother and child for a full term pregnancy so I request that she be allowed to stay here. You may visit her if you wish.
Here, for your satisfaction. He turns the video on Doreen, resting comfortably in her bed. Besides the mound on her belly covered under blankets, she looks comfortable but tired
"Hi, Daddy. I'm OK. They are treating me well so don't worry. Please, keep me informed about Ruslan. She sighs I fear that I will be raising this child alone as I know how the Rheinland courts are when it comes to Red Hessians. She smiles Still, Daddy, I'll be OK.
Turns the camera back on himself
I hope that brightens your day up a bit, Mr. Belong. Do keep in touch.
Dr. Edward Tesh
Dervan Belong forwarded this to me.
After that I get in contact with Med.Force.One and receved this video transmission to be forwarded to you:

To: Mr. Christian Nagger
Greetings, Mr. Nagger,
My name is Dr. Edward Tesh and I have been assigned to take care of your daughter, Doreen. She is currently being kept in our maternity ward under my care as per the order of Dr. Holliday as I am more specialized in maternity issues.
Doreen is resting comfortably considering she is 8 months along. I am concerned, with her small frame, that she will go soon. If she goes full term, it will be good for the baby. Her belly is quite firm, so she has little room for expansion. She has chosen not to know the sex of the child although I already know.
Currently, we are moored outside of Gran Canaria as the command staff and many of the medical staff members are on shore leave after releasing most of the patients from the recent Freeport Bombings. I still monitor Doreen closely.
If you wish to see her, do let us know and we will arrange for you to come on board.
Most sincerely,
Dr. Edward Tesh
Chief Medical Officer, Med.Force.One
A tear drop is running from Christians eyes.
Anger and happyness are changing expressions on his face.
"Why dont you say a single word?"
"Well, Mr. Naggar"
"See, I am absolute profession and know how to do my job."
"And this means also I know when it is the best point of time to deliver some specific information."
"Remember your well formed heartwarming speach. You have won the favour of the whole audiance with it. You have been transformed from a brutal pirtating criminal to a beloving father. This wouldn t be possible if you were distracted. We will take this opportunity and your daughter and her unborn child to transform you completly into a victim of circumstances.
Trust me Mr. Naggar, I will get you out of this. He have the chance, we simply have to take it."
"Now excuse me, Sir. I have to respond to some urgend matter. Let me say, your "frind" Dervan Belong is involved."
Nathan Dequery stands up and leaving the astonished Christian Naggar without a word.
All rising, the honorable Ma?am Judge is entering the court rom.
After she has found her seat and the audience was ordered to sit down she leaned back raised an eyebrow and said with a small tune of sarcasm: So, Mr. Dequery would you be so kind as to resolve the mystery? What was so important that we had to abate legal proceedings for several days?
Well, your honour Nathan Dequery rose as usual fitting his tie.
As we all know and you know the best Ma`am Judge are liberty and justice the highest goods among us human beings. Every man and every woman has the right that all circumstances might be considered before the final judgment is made.
Judge:
Come to the point Mr. Dequery.
Nathan Dequery:
I am speaking of the motive of my defendant. Can a man who has to fight to feed up his kid. Who is on a search for his pregnant daughter probably in the hands of a known and declared enemy of Rheinland. Who was in the claw of a loan shark. Who` s wife left him and his kids.
Can such a man, I am asking all of you, is such a man able to handle all these things without getting on the edge of legality? Should a man be punished for the destiny wich is punishing him anyway day by day?
*approvingly muttering*
But what should I say? I like to introduce you to an real expert. There are not many people in this universe which had seen more harm and pain. He is the right one to show us the fragile behavior of human beings and he also comes along with some good news.
Your Honour I like to name a witness of the defense Chief Medical Officer Dr. Edward Tesh.
As many of you know he is the Chief Medical Officer of the [TAZ]Med.Force.One.
Judge:
It`s due to Dr. Tesh`s good reputation that I dont inhibit this now. Bring the witness of the defense Dr. Edward Tesh to the witness stand.
A sharp tie, greying hair at the temples and an old styled briefcase, Gregory Templeman of Templeman, Van Horne, and Goethe walked through the door. Walking down to the front of the courtroom, he inclined his head to the Judge.
Your honour, he greeted. I have been retained by one Jason Naggar to represent the young mans interests in this case. It appears that the Naggar family have important friends in important places, capable of affording a Lawyer of my distinction to represent them. If it pleases your honour, since this is a case about Master Naggars father and his custodial rights over a boy that may or may not be accused of criminal charges himself, it is important that due representation be appointed. I have a writ from Child Services here that authorizes me to act on Master Naggars behalf, and ensure that there is due process for the wrongfully accused father of my client.
He tapped his hands on the handle of his briefcase, had I been informed earlier, I would have made the journey here from our Bretonian offices sooner. I believe that Frau Goethe, another named partner in our prestigious and very large law firm, is right now at the public defenders office obtaining permission to step in and offer her legal services to Mister Naggar himself.
He smiled a confident smile, standing there in his three thousand credit suit, hand woven Kusari silk tie, and steel rimmed glasses. Leaving no doubt in anyones mind that he was a skilled, and successful lawyer.

Dressed in his best suit, Dr. Edward Tesh arrived in the court room. He had only been into the Rheinland once before and that was before the war started. He was a loyal Libertonian having grown up and studied medicine on Planet California. The Rheinland government had known this and assigned two military escorts with him. Still, he kept quiet as he found the sharp looking lawyer and took a seat next to him.
"You will have to forgive me, Sir, I am quite new to such proceedings," he said quietly as he took a seat. With him was a metal case. "Mr. Templeman, Mr. Dequery told me I should bring this. Besides some records I have of Mr. Naggar's daughter, Doreen, I have some video of the birth of her son. I'll let you decide how to use it."
With that, he sat down and waited, waited to see what happened next.
Mister Templeman, QC, accepted the documents, joining Mister Naggars table, shuffling through the documents and glancing at his new colleagues.
"I'd like to make a motion, to have these documents, as well as the MED.FORCE.ONE's official logs entered into evidence," he said, rising smoothly from his chair, one hand resting just below his sternum.
"Also I would like to request that all court documents pertaining to this case be delivered to my Neural Net, so that I can best defend my client's interests in this case."
He cleared his throat, "And one more thing, Your Honour," I would like to establish a motion that Jason Nagger's case be considered at the same time as his father's. The two cases are linked, and it would be a travesty of justice were one to be tried while the other sits in a cell awaiting his day in court. My client is not guilty, and I think the jury will agree, that as a victim of circumstance, neither is his father..."
"Objection..." the prosecution Barracuda stated. "He is trying to influence the jury... the time for opening statements is long over..."
"Sustained," the judge banged the hammer. "Keep it relevant to the motions at hand Counselor."
"Of course, your honour," he glanced at the father and the other defense Lawyer. "Do you have any objections to trying this case at the same time?" He leaned down, covering his mouth with his hand. "The jury is going to take one look at a ten year old boy on the stand and they are going to balk at conviction... this is, possibly, the best chance you have at the moment..."

Listening carefully, Dr. Tesh leans over to Mr. Templeman and Mr. Dequery and whispers in their ears, "Gentlemen, if you plan to play up to the jury, I also have the video or the birth of Christian Nagger's grandson in this case. An ace-in-the-hole perhaps to sway the jury?"
He leans back with a smirk and sits back down.
Mr. Dequery then nods to Mr. Templeman and smiles. Then he looks to the judge, "Your honor, we have no objections to trying both men at the same time." He then sits down and covers his mouth to Mr. Templeman, "You obviously have a plan. I'll follow your lead."
Templeman nods, rising and gesturing for the 13 year old Jason to come and take a seat at the defense table.
He was wearing a carefully selected Rhineland school-boys uniform, cleaned up so that his large eyes shone in the harsh lights of the court room. He looked terrified, taking his seat at the table, Templeman standing off to one side.
"Doctor Tesh, you are an esteemed member of a Temporary Autonomous Zoners Medical ship, are you not? With a respectable degree, notable accomplishments and expert training?"
He didn't wait for a reply, merely walked around the table. His hand again flat against his sternum.
"Of course you are, it is a simple statement of fact that you are an expert in your field, which of course makes you an excellent judge of character, so my question is, what do you think about young Mister Jason Naggar's character, would you say he has potential?"
"Objection: he is leading the witness..."
"Withdrawn your honour," Templeman bowed a little to his opponent. "I forget, sometimes, when I so ardently believe in the potential of our youth today... let me ask another question... in all your travels, doctor, have you had a chance to see the havoc that two concurrent wars have wrought upon our economy?"

Dr. Tesh sat for a moment to think of his answer. It wasn't that he didn't have one, it's that he wanted to have it properly worded. He turned to the judge briefly to pardon himself, "My apologies, your honor, this is my first time in a court room so I'm a bit nervous."
He then turned back to Mr. Templeman, "I do know how devastated the Rheinland economy was before it's war with Kusari," he began, "they had borrowed a great deal of money from the Liberty government back then and were still financially devastated after the war ended. Now, they are at war with the very same government that they still have a war debt to. I would expect that it will be worse this time as evidenced by the taxes they have levied on shipping. It's not like Bretonia can help them right now."
"Objection," screamed the prosecuter, "move to strike the last comment regarding Bretonia as it is speculation.
"Sustained," replied the judge who then turned to Dr. Tesh, "Dr. Tesh, you will refrain from speculation."
Dr. Tesh nodded and then continued.
"For what it's worth, I hear stories quite often from the many affected by these wars. Bretonian refugees left homeless from the Kusari advance in Leeds, orphaned children from a Red Hessian or Unioner pilot who's honest living was stripped from them and they had no other recourse but to steal. Do I agree with their methods? No! But, I do understand them.
The prosecutor again stood up to object before Dr. Tesh put his hand up to stop him, "Sir, that was a medical professional's opinion as to the state of mind of some of those you prosecute. Maybe, Sir, you should spend a few days on my ship and here them for yourself."
