The OC GB has a visable pilot, which implies its a single man ship.
The LR GB has a 'bridge' as if it was a larger vessel with a crew
The LR GB is around the same size, prehaps a tad smaller, however.
the scales are what need to be reworked, that or re-do the textures, or totaly remake the ships.
Personaly I think that the next large rebuild done of the mod needs to re-scale everything, at least the differnce between caps and fighters.
below is one example of a propper scale, tho cruiser/Lib DN scale is a tad off. Note how the uphplder is a mear flea in comparison, its a tad bigger ingame of course.
Now, its not that bad in general, however scale is an issue.

Yanno I gotta agree with this... I never thought the Cast GB would be a one man ship. Scale and such should be looked at. How difficult would it be to tweak this?

Depends on how much they wana change things.
If they would rather not change textures and change stats instead, they could resize the OC GB to be basicly an ultra heavy fighter, give it lower armor/power and fewer wep slots and make it an over sized fighter with GB weps, and make ones with apparent size to them like the LR/molly GB larger/clunkier, but heavier armed/armored
If a texture change is preferd, prehaps have the cockpit have SEVERAL crewmembers seen in the cockpit, add a few portholes on the sides.
The key is to take the fighters and use the pilot model, scale everything to that.
