First of all i must say that i am honoured by my recent promotion , and that i will forfill my new rank to the best of my abilities.
Patrol report
yesterday was a normal day , with a few exeptions that are listed below
1. Unfriendly encounter I was flying From the Nagumo towards shikoku to meet up with [KNF] Hajime Hiroito when i passed a large samura convoy, and picked up a GC contact on my ships scanner. I immediatly left the trade lane and intercepted the ship wich was not making any attempts to run.
(meanwhile [KNF] Hajime Hiroito arrived also to the scene)
After several attempts to contact the pilot i finaly got a response , the pilot claimed to be busy with massive communication ( her own words) , and apparently the ship functioned as a relay station for their communication.
We ordered the pilot to leave the location near the trade lane. the pilot complied and moved out..
I advise to monitor sector 6D in kyushu for more of these incursions,
2. Ship inspections After a lot of other traffic i inspected a transport (STF nova star legion) , the captain of that transport was a leader to the Sirius Trade Federation and wanted to show his respect for the KNF by supporting our Cause with a donation of 5.000.000 . ( please inform me where to send it)
From wat i understand their federation is growing and we will see more of their ships in the Future
3. a friendly gesture another trader i escorted was the IMG atlas flown by Captain Zed . Zed had some cargo to deliver at the Nagumo and as a friendly gesture he also delivered 10 crates of whisky to the messhall/ bar ( i have placed the whisky under guard to avoid unauthorized use)

This is Daisa Kitao, reporting in.
Now as you might've guessed, I usually only file reports if fairly out-of-the-ordinary things occur.
And this did occur today.
So, I joined patrol with Chujo Hiroito and one other, Jiro Taichibana, and we went to clear out the Hokkaido system. A congregation of Golden Chrysanthemums were there already happily chatting away. However... when we enquired as to their location, they gave it freely. We checked out the location, and the offender, a Minata Kisune, was found to actually be telling the truth!
What really happened was an oddity. I do not know what the defensive force were thinking, but they left their own base at our mercy. All except for Minata, who stood her ground. Another GC pilot soon undocked from Ainu and entered the fray, and was dispatched by the Chujo as she attempted to redock with Ainu after suffering critical damage.
Minata displayed significantly more skill but was in the end no match for my Umibozu and Jiro's Chimera. She surrendered before the final blow could be struck, and we decided to escort her to Fuchu prison. At first she was co-operative, but she tried to make a break for freedom as I jumped through to Shikoku, her own good self staying in New Tokyo. Attempts to get her to stay on course to Fuchu were neither acnowledged nor adhered to, leading to a fairly long chase.
Jiro followed without a cruise disruptor, and our patience broken, I jumped back to New Tokyo after my jump systems had recharged. The chase ended with her getting disrupted, and after a brief struggle, her ship being holed by my supernova from the side. There was no evidence of an escape pod, which suggests a failed jettison. Minata is likely space dust by now, which is a shame, since she was very capable of thinking for herself. Too bad she chose life and death at the hands of the Kusari Naval Forces.
If you have the evidence of that shoot, Daisa Kitao, I'll pay our little bet.
Today we have to rescue our new ensign, Takura Yamamoto, from a Mandalorian attempting to his life. Me and Daii Kagakagari went to Sigma 17, to escort his ship back to Kusari space. Fourtanely, our presences made the Mandalorian to leave before to encounter us. Once we got Yamamoto, we returned to Kusari space, where Kagakagari and me kept patroling, from Honshu to Tau 31. <div align="right]Kaigun Chūjō Hiroito Hajime. [font=Century Gothic]
Hiroito sits infront of the screen, watching the glass of sake that he's holding with the right hand. He scratchs his face, his beard, takes a little sip of sake, and start throwing out some words.
Well, it has been an interesting week, I will try to explain the events in the right order.
To begin with, there was a trader, I can't be sure on what kind of ship was it, I didn't take photos of it, or its scan, but, I'm pretty sure it was some kind of civilian train. Apparently, heading to Kyushu, to planet Kyushu, to be more precise. And then, it was supposed to be back to Liberty, after picking up some polymers at Tsushima depot. I forgot to mention, that I was escorting this ship, to make sure, they don't suffer any kind of attack. While heading back to Shikoku, in the New Tokyo system, I was one lane ahead of the transport, scouting ahead of it, and alerting it of any pirate in scanner range. After reaching Shinjuku station, I took the lane to planet New Tokyo, where I found a outcast trident, callsign: Antagonist. Immediately, the transport was alerted of the situation, and they remained at Shinjuku, I made my move on the Trident, to distract it and making a breach for the transport to pass through the lane. We succeed.
The Trident for some kind of reason beyond my knowledge, went away, and I finished escorting the transport to the Shikoku system.
Once that was done, I moved back to Kyushu, as the sensors at the New Tokyo gate, detected the
aforementioned trident. At this opportunity, I ordered to deploy the Bakumatsu, currently stationed at planet Kyushu. An emergency call got to us, from the Tau 23 jump hole, where two mercenaries were under attack by an anonymous trident, a different one from the one we were looking for. After I got to Bakumatsu's deck. We set point to the Tau 23 jump hole, before we got there, the Antagonist opened fire on the two mercenaries. Once we got to the area, I ordered to open fire on both of the tridents. We took records from the fight, the callsing of the second trident was: Outer. We focused our fire on the Antagonist, while the two mercenaries were firing on the Outer. It didn't take so long to take care of both of them, the mercenaries ended alright, with just a few holes on their hulls, but alive no the less.
The Bakumatsu returned to its position in orbit to planet Kyushu, and I jumped on my Chimaera once again. Was then when I got a message from the A.A.A.I. requesting passage through our space to reach Sigma 13. It was located at the Tau 31 system, I flew there to escort it, and make sure that it didn't miss his route to Sigma 13. In our way there, I had a conversation with happens to be the commander of the ship, somekind of Artificial Inteligence, which I called AI. Ai told me, that his (or should it be "its") ship offer relaxation to who request it. He, or it, wasn't so clear about it, and due to it had no costumers at the moment of the trip, I didn't want to ask further that. But from what I could get of his words, seemed like a whorehouse to me.
Anyway, we got to the Sigma 13 jump gate with no problems.
We were alerted that a small swarm of outcast ships were attacking the Colonials in Tau 23. I took my chimaera there as fast as I could, by the time I got there, the Colonial forces were reduced to just 1 ship, and the combat seemed to be finished. But one last outcasts refused to leave at the order of the colonial, and he called for reinforcements. After sharing some nice words with the scums, the battle re started. I managed to take down two of them, but the Colonial got severe damage on his ship, and was forced to eject. I took his pod, and after destroying the second sabre, I got him to Java station.
Once the skirmish with the outcast ended (I have to mention it was the third this week), I went back to Kyushu, where I found to Mandalorians right at the Tau 23 jump hole, a Maffic, and a gunboat. I'm going to be honest, I though they share our sense of honor, but seems I was wrong, as both of them started firing on me, with no regret. A smuggler by the name of Sara.Saxlythe, came to us and started firing on me too. It seems they were escorting that smuggler to the Tau 23 system, and I was just an unfortunate mistake.

During a patrol around New Tokyo this evening, I was informed of Blood Dragon vessels terrorising the civilian traffic in Honshu by a Kishiro representative. I couldn't allow such madness to continue, so I immediately cleared my patrol waypoints and headed off to asess the situation.
I made contact with the fallen samurais directly as I left the jump gate from New Tokyo. They were superior in numbers, but that was not so in vessel classes. I ran a few scans on them and the database of wanted criminals displayed the names of a Blood Dragon, Hirosho Horatami, a Nova Power Gen vessel, the Rogue and Ryuu, another, independent Blood Dragon warrior.
The ronin warriors demanded two Blood Dragon pilots I took into captivity, I immediately refused. Horatami wanted to persuade me, but the Nova PG pilot began to attempt reclaiming his brothers with force and I was forced to resist. The Rogue was a Tanto-class light fighter, it posed no imminent threat to me, as I was flying my Chimaera. I managed to heavily damage his vessel, causing him to flee. I attempted a pursuit at first, but his fellow comrades covered him with cruise disruptors. I could have persisted, but he admitted his defeat and fled in shame.
Two hostiles were left, but Horatami retreated without me placing a single shot at his craft. The reasons for his actions remain unexplained, but he was most probably afraid to face me. That cannot be said for Ryuu, who stood his ground and attempted to continue his struggle to reclaim his captive brothers. He was without success, a simple dent to my hull is all I recieved in the fight.
Ryuu eventually realised I outmatched him and offered his surrender. I wanted to accept, on the condition that he turned his crew over, but he refused to do so. He jettisoned a mine and tried to escape, but I destroyed his vessel.
I Started patrol in New tokyo, and witnessed [KNF]Kagakagari.Takaya dispatch one "Teodoro.Alonso" with the Help of an IMG vessel dubbed "Kaspaar".
I later happened upon a blood dragon bomber tagged "Ryuu.Noboru". After attempting to persuade the criminal to return allied pilots (which he refused of course), Takaya engaged the dragon, and when it became apparent that the dragon was too skilled in s.n.a.c use to be dealt with alone, I attempted to interject. Unfortunately, I was too late; and takaya's vessel was destroyed. Seconds later, after trying to avenge my comrade, My ship was destroyed in one deafening moment of sheer white light, during which i have to admit; I blacked out. I awoke a week later; wracked with pain, as the nurse gave me the familiar run down of the various procedures and changes that had been performed, and, of how lucky I had been that the escape pod was a recent design, and not some shoddy old model..
I was later debriefed on how [KSP]Toko.Oyashio, and [KSP]Szerano.Lycone had dealt with the matter after my neutralisation. >>>Time: Week 3, 818 AS
I started patrol and briefed a trader named pedro flinn on foreign diplomacy and the dangers of kusari space. I later met a lady named Sei.Osugi (A Roc pilot) who was amenable to a fair exchange of pilots, and headed out of controlled space. The rest of the time went by peacefully, along with a few checks on shikoku periodically and some audible warnings. >>>Time: Day 22, 818 AS
Shift began in new tokyo, I looked forward to a pleasant day: but what I happened Upon was [GC]-Sei.Osugi again, this time looking a little more dangerous, flanked by her friends Amy.Masako (Blossom), and [GC]-The_Kurishoian (Tridente): the trio obviously had their run of New tokyo; I felt overwhelmed at the odds before me, and so opted to observe the 3. It wasn't long before masako left, and they disbanded - I assume they had their 'fun' before I arrived. A dragon named Aka.Sensou who sei suggested might be a cannibal, I recoiled at the thought and trailed his wake to kyushu. >>>Day: 29, 818 AS.
I started patrol and noticed recruit [KNF-K]Jitte making the final changes to their new ship. I quickly came upon a zoner transport in shikoku: "Wilko.Ltd_ZBT" who was under fire from outcast "Ky-Kiske" (p-trans). Though I attempted to save the zoner, I was too late, the outcast captured over 1000 passengers. I attempted to enlist the help of the Jitte, but we were unable to completely destroy the pirate transport; just force it to escape from controlled space. It was during this encounter that the outcast started babbling incoherently about "reporting" the Jitte for something: why the outcast council would care about a specific KNF bomber is anyone's guess..
I also caught [S.A.G.A]Che_Guavaer[T] with counterfeit software at junyo. I asked the ship to turn around, and they complied. >>>Time: Day 32, 818 AS.
I started patrol in shikoku and immediately witnessed a group of freelancers and mercs in combat with "Ky Kiske" and an outcast falcata tagged "black_fighter". The freelancers were victorious; one "Janna.Gregh" - a heavy-fighter pilot - managed to destroy the pirate transport. The falcata managed to escape to kyushu after nearly being destroyed by "Evening.Star" (conference). I of course tried to help, but found my targetting impaired by my niggling injuries. I was met by Daisa kandazuchi, who I reported the situation to. I will endeavor to be available for training which I am sorely obviously in need of.

Konnichiwa,
Daii Tanaka Masa, commander of this ship, reporting in.
Routine patrols of Tau space have been unusually quiet over the past few days. Little overtly illegal activity, though still the usual traders openly transporting goods to Bretonia despite the war - primarily unimportant goods, however.
On the end of the patrol route at Glasgow station sensors detected BAF presence. Knowing the speed with which Bretonia can summor reinforcements, my crew and I chose not to provoke the enemy at first; however, the enemy sent a heavy fighter patrol in search of us - clearly detecting us on long range sensors. With the support of a Destroyer freshly arrived on scene, I moved to engage the Bretonians further from our secure position at Glasgow (I wished not to risk our foothold should the Bretonians attack in numbers).
Within a few minutes a half dozen BAF ships had engaged us - including multiple destroyers and supporting ships. While we fought valiantly defeat was inevitable and my ship suffered critical damage in the battle. While the ship will be in the docks for repair for some time I will resume Tau patrols in my personal Chimaera immediately.
The Bretonians crowed victory despite their obvious failing as we still control the Tau-31 gate. While this story stains my honor and I am ashamed to have sundered the good name of our Emperor's Naval Forces, I will happily inform you all that the Bretonians have grown no smarter since our last great conflicts. While their response time has improved, they struggled to destroy my agile Kishiro gunship even with what seemed half their fleet! While we must never underestimate our enemy, I wonder how they seriously believe they can challenge our immortal Emperor.
when i was plotting my patrolroute for that day onboard the nagumo, i got alerted by kantana that one Qcp and 1 GC vessel where flying near new tokyo. We have set an rv point near Yukawa shipyard and from there we followed the two ships to the Hokaido system.
At first there was no sign of them , but when we started to sweep the system things started going south.
First long range contact was the QCP Vessel , Followed by a GC ship , and a CS vessel. Because we could not persuade the pilots to leave Kusari space , a fight started with the CS ship followed by the GC ship and surprisingly 3-4 QCP ships.
The CS vessel somehow told the QCP to stand down and fly away so it became a 2 vs2 fight. Finally after a long time of fighting the GC ship got so badly damaged that it was forced to retreat. While we where still fighting with the CS ship the QCP Jumped in with 6 Ships and targeted me .
Luckily [Keibo}Koyanagi was passing by and came to our aid to counter the situation. and Kantana whos ship was damaged could retreat.
CS was gaining in numers too , and used those numbers to keep QCP away , so for a moment it was a chaos. To make it an absolute chaos , a keeper showed up and started to tussle with the Qcp ships. We broke away from battle to get out of the QCP CS keeper crossfire and got engaged again at a distance of 4k of the Btertonian fleet , now we had 1 QCP and Still 1 Cs ships fighting while we where surrounded by other CS ships and a CS cruiser. Then when a Hacker tagged ship turned in and opened fire on us and the CS cruiser opened fire , I decided that it was more wise to retreat and fight another day.
