The new server ping compared to the old one * BIG POLL*

I've been wondering about this. So please tick the appropriate boxes.

My ping dropped from 70-80 to 35 to 50. So hooray for me. So I will tick the boxes 'better' and '-40 to -20' and '30 to 50' as an example.

my ping was 37 when it was in the czech rep. now it hovers around 80. still dont care. i pitty the anzlag players though. i can see the amount of lag almost on a daily basis on Hurrix's sails character.

Ever heard of "too low ping" syndrome?

I was laughing at MarvinCZ about it before, but now that it got me I'm cursing just like he did.

It means that your ping is so low that everyone else's missiles/cds/mines hit you perfectly. While your missiles/cds/mines miss those "laggers" with ~100 ping all the time.

Yes, indeed, you have it bad with your amazingly low ping, Mjolnir, our hearts are with you.:P

Now that I've got sarcasm out of the way, my ping used to be 70-80(when browsing the server list) and now it's at a steady 54, so that's a good thing I guess, though the server location is further away from my place than it was when majkp hosted it.

The only thing I mind really, is that the ping increases a lot when you're actually playing the game, and it gets up to a 100 and something. That's probably because of server load or something, though.
Don't remember if it was like that before as well.

I think you'll find the further away from the server you get, the less the impact will be. I notice no change, but then, I've been changing providers like underwear, so it might have balanced out.

The ping stayed the same for me living in Austria.

What changed is the fight stability when the server is over 150 people.

The ping stays the same, but fighting becomes impossible. Everyone is lagging like hell then.

I had about 230 on average before, now I hover around 200. Fights are still do-able, conversations still possible.

Quick edit: I mean, by the time I count to one, my computer has:

My ping stayed the same around ~50 60 but that is untill today , right now I have ping 180 and I have no idea why and what the hell happend over night.
