She kept the gun trained on him for a few more agonising seconds, to give him time to sweat. Then...
...she lowered it and put it in her holster. "Good answer." She picked up a sheaf of papers from the desk and shoved them into his hands. "Fill these out, and don't come back until you're done. Send the other man in on your way out." She sat down at the desk. "Well? Go do it! Before I change my mind!"
A figure walks down towards his destination, he was brown-haired, his eyes also brown in colour, his skin-colouration hinted at a Libertonian heritage, he wore a grey flightsuit and black boots, the boots themselves looked like they'v seen action, scuff marks that could not be scrubbed out remained from battles long past.
A small file-folder was tucked under his right arm, a tan folder filled with reports and his files during his Libertonian days.
The man calmly walked up to the Secretary's desk and nodded politely.
"Excuse me ma'am, can you please book and appointment with the Recruitment Officer on duty if you would kindly?" he asked politely, a slight Denver accent could be heard as he spoke, one could tell this man had Combat experience from the way he held himself, ready to defend himself at a moment's notice should something...Unexpected happen.
As he waited patiently for the Secretary to book his appointment he brushed some of his short brown hair away from his forehead, Ben Warner sighed as his fingers rid him of the irritating hairs that were covering his forehead, his facial expressions calm and collected as he waited, knowing the possibility that he would be killed was just around the corner...Afterall...He once worked with the Coalition when the Revolution was at a high-note in Liberty...
Young man came to Secretary nervously, then he said with slight russian accent: "Dobriy den', I'd like to join Coalition, where's recruiment officer right now?"
"In there." The secretary pointed to the open door to Vicenta's office. "I warn you, she's not in a good mood." To Warner, the secretary said "Ah... please wait a moment, I'll see if I can contact Commissar-Captain Katz for you, he might like to speak with you in person."
Man entered Vicenta's office.
"Dobriy den', I'd like to join Coallition. My name is Petr Diordienko, I'm former Mandalorian, through I've never fought you, as you should know.
I've been told Coallition feeds poor.. I'd like to join Coallition in it, as I've got friends on Manhattan, suffering from capitalistic hands.. Uhh."
He coughed, then looked at Vicenta..
With a slight nod of his head he gives a small smile in thanks to the overworked secretary.
"Thank you kindly Ma'am, you'v been very helpful." he thanked her sincerely, placing the folder on the counter as he grabs his spectecles and starts to gently clean grim and dirt off of the lenses.
Ben was in no way blind, he just used them to read and blend into crowds better, so while he waited for Alvin to get ahold of him he just calmly cleaned his Glasses and waited patiently.
Without even looking up, Vicenta pointed her revolver at Diordienko as soon as he entered. "That's it?" she said as he finished. "That's all you have to say? We need more information than that. How do I know you're not a spy?" She stood. "How do I know you haven't been sent by your Mandalore to try and infiltrate us, destroy us from the inside out? You are not making a very convincing case! Tell me why I shouldn't shoot you dead right here!" she barked, a cold expression on her face.
Petr sighed...
"Because I've left Madalorians. And I've heard you've made peace, actually.. Also, I had nice talks with some of you.. Uhh. Gabriel Mao, for example. Seems, he understands me better then you.. He send me some books for reading, seems, I understand Coallition's goals.
Well, if you refuse me.."
"You keep saying you left the Mandalorians, but you seem reluctant to tell me why. Why did you leave? Can you prove it? And just because we have a ceasefire, doesn't mean your command might not still try to find out more about us. Now, tell me. Who sent you? Why do you really want to join? Can Commander Mao vouch for you?"
