On an unrelated note, I've got an arms dealer you all should meet
Level of Caring: Zero
On an unrelated note, did you wanted me to give you a BS-story for the Codenames or did you want me to speak the truth?
Judging a faction based on the need of Codenames rather than using guns that do little to no damage in order to fulfill their Role-Playing roll, well, if that's the criteria you have for quality - then I feel very sorry for you.

Besides that, where is the sentiment that said that 'codes arent that good anyway'? I remember that being bandied around a lot a while ago.
If there were more civilian guns, I'd understand. I'd still disagree, but I'd understand ...
But there aren't.
(note, not in the faction)
We have checked the Technology Chart and every-single-bar is red except Civilian Tech. So for hull guns we are down to Flashpoints or Codenames. If we want to use Codenames we will, and if anyone here feels that it's some form of PvP-whoring abusive blablabla then be my guest, because frankly, I don't want to hear your opinion about this group if it's based on the usage of Codenames.
(Not stating that you did McNeo, just adding it in my post here.)

I don't really see why codename guns is such a hotbed issue for this group. Considering that every indie player and a good deal of factions allow themselves to be armed with Codename weapons speaks to how common place they are in the game. It isn't an advantage, the guns can be just as useless if the pilots don't know how to use them properly.
And isn't a Vigilante sort of asking for fight? I like roleplay as much as the next guy but a big part of this game is PvP combat is it not?

The Thing is, they don't like the Navy/Police/LSF and they don't like the LR/LH/Xenos/Junkers/OC. So only the Civilian Guns and Codenames left. I don't know why you are all making a Fuzz about this.
By the Way, where do you get your Minirazors, Armour Upgrades and SNACs?
"Who is it doing this synthetic type of alpha beta psychedelic funkin'?"
Yeah it's actually true. If our Role-Playing role is getting rid of pirates and ensuring security, etc. etc.
Then we might also need some guns that actually do some frickin' damage, so we can accomplish our goals, yes? So from that perspective I'm talking about fulfilling our Role-Playing roles. I still admit it gave us PvP advantage, and I'm talking about "advantage" as in, compared to using civilian technology, not advantage over other players. I also have no problem stating that, but the previous argument is still as much as valid.

We can go to the Zoner Guard System and purchase stuff there since we are allowed to dock on their bases.
