Tell me why.

Please, just tell me why there are so many People complaining about Factions like the Phantoms, Keepers, Coalition, Wilde or just Terrorist ID'd Independent Players. I have seen Keepers, I have seen Wilde, I have seen the Coalition and I have seen Terrorists. I have been pleased talking and playing with those Players who keep up an awesome Roleplay Standard.

Yet

I am not in any of those Factions, nor am I having any Character with a Terrorist ID, but: I am tired of all the People whining or raging about those Factions. Really, what is the Reason for that? You got killed by a Keeper in Delta? Well you are in their Space, they are keeping their Space clear. You got killed by a Terrorist? Well, that is what they do, they kill you do spread Fear.

Really People, first: Those are also Players. What would you think about other People who keep complaining about you in a regular Faction. Second: Finally tell me why every Thread about Keepers and Phantoms ends in Flames.

Please remember, that this is a Thread posted by a Person that actually exists and has Feelings. So do the others around you. Please do not burn them with any Flames or Fire.

Or maybe cause sometimes members of those factions do the same thing to other factions and judge them, but they don't look at themselfs first and realize that they aren't much different. And that annoys people like hell.

If I think about abusing my Right for PvP, then I wonder why the LR-Feedback isnt spammed like Hell, since I kill dozens of Transports, destroy many Cops and shoot at idiotic Rogues, Junkers, Outcasts or Pirates.

One word my lovely Schlurb: Jealousy.

Such over-generalizations do nothing but hinder ones ability of introspection, hindering with it our ability to progress and better our roleplay.

Or to put it simply: "Oh, we don't need to change anything, everyone else is just jealous" is an asinine excuse to do nothing.

In my opinion, from my experiences over these past 1 year and a half, if people whine it's for a good darned reason. The overall RP standard shown by most people brandishing IDs with few restrictions is significantly lower to those with more. I'd even dare to say that the relation Restrictions-Quality of RP is an inversely proportional one.

I did roleplay well with Keepers, Wilde, Coalition and a Terroris ID'd Player. I cannot say anything about a low Roleplay Standard or any misbehaving or abusing. There are many, many other People abusing their IDs without any Roleplay or horrible Roleplay. Also, it seems that only those Factions, which are restricted get treated like that, I mean as in raging. A lot.

Also, I think the good Zelty isnt even in one of those Factions I mentioned.

Because some people think they know how to play better than others. They believe there way is the correct way and do not mind telling others they are wrong. I know there are players here longer than me and possibly play better than me, however, if someone chooses to play a certain way that they do not like they have to complain about it. Then they come off looking bad.

Players need to let others play unless they are breaking the rules. You do not have to like it, but just have to deal with it.

Ex.. some like using guns, others like to use missiles or mines, but the gunners do not like that. I have heard many times in game, "you do not know how to aim so you missile spam".

I die all the time. I deal with it. I do not care how I died, but learn from it so it does not happen that way again.

I can really only speak from the position of a keeper, as I've never had a terrorist ID or been in the wilde/phantoms, but to all those complaining about 'us' I will say this: We -always- have a reason for attacking someone or something. It may not be a reason you agree with, but we do not simply run around and attack people just for the lulz (well, unless you're a lolwutter, that's usually a reason we might end up shooting at you =)
