Just a little question...

I remember playing as the Arwing from Starfox in the last mod and I was thinking....

Is it possible that some of the ships, like the arwing, could be brought back to this mod?

If so, why not have a contest for a few of those ships that we all liked..
(I really want to fly it again..):(

I mean anything is possible right?

What do you guys think?

The Arwing? Apart from the fact that was completely glitched-up if memory serves me correctly, it's also (IMO) unfreelancerish and of course, it's an Arwing from a completely different game - which simply doesn't really fit in. I don't think that the RP behind it was that great either (A random alien ship from an unexplored region of space copied by the Corsairs? They might as well copy the designs of a Falacta or something)

That aside, I would be in favor of some older discovery-made models which were thrown out - for use as ex-prototype ships maybe? (I particularly liked the old Outcast Battleship, though I'm not sure if that one is an import).

Well when I used it, I loved it. It never gliched up for me at anytime. (maybe I was one of the lucky ones.)

Well you have a point on it being not a very good RP ship... but there are ships like that as well in game too.

As for the prototype idea..... I like it. maybe it could be looked into....

Yeah, that.

It's an import, we're working to remove and replace all the imports from other mods/other subjects.

So that all that remains is Discovery/Vanilla ships.

They have stated that donations are donations only. No amount of money will give you any advantage of any kind.

What I'd like to see...is the old Zoner Gunboat model used as a civilian combat freighter (read: Civ Gunboat MkII).

Keep it's cargo hold to 5-600, four GB turrets, and enough energy to fire one (1) missile.

I'd fly that.

Plus, with the model of the original Civ Gunboat model hopefully being implemented, there can be competition. Zoners put out their model, Renzu theirs.

Thoughts?
