So true, haha, I sh** my pants playing with Marine,

I can't wait this new version. Old one had one of the best atmospheres. Damn scary, and spoky

It's the third game in the series, at least the third one that would be a First person Shooter

The game, as well as the movies, are actually based on an obscure scene in the second Predator movie, where you can see the Xenomorph's scull in the Predator's ship, on the trophy wall. And on a comic, which is actually very good.

I can't wait to see it, the last one was awesome!

I hope they make the Marines bit just as spooky and epic.

I loved the first AvP for the reasons people already wrote here.
Marine campaign on hardest level in the middle of the night in a dark room with sound on max. Doesn't get any more scary than that.
Allien part was also awesome. When shot at using the Gatling from some distance you'd first hear the shots falling around you.. then die.. then hear the rotating sound.

Predator one was good in places(last 2 missions) not so good in others.

Multiplayer was cool.

Sadly Avp2 was a huge disappointment to me, specially the alien was really slow.

Hope it builds on the first game then.

The first one was good. I like the whole Predators made the Aliens thing, that was good. And it had some backstory.

The second was horrible. Generic Zombie style setting, ending with the USAF going 'lulz we nuked j00!'

As soon as I can get my hands on this game, Ill force you to play with me in MP.

The reason why I am tempted to mount 3 Mortars on the Ravensburg. Just looks great.

I have all of the original AvP games with appropriate expansions. It's a shame they took the server down for AvP2. Made me Q_Q.

So yeah. I'll be playing with all of you people when I get this.

Looks promising, but the calm voice guiding you around and the arrow on the map change the atmosphere from super creepy to just a bit creepy.

Movies were meh, worth watching but not really so good for the lore.

The games were based off the movies surrounding both, and combined the Aliens and the Predators long before the movies did.

This series (Aliens that is) is well known for the fact the sequels didn't suck in comparison to others at the time, and nowadays.

They are FPS', although each campaign/role you take on is different gameplay-wise.

You wouldn't like it Cam, you don't get to over-compensate with battleships at any point in the game...

MP Demo (Deathmatch only, play as all three races)is on Steam and XBLive and I think PSN as well now.
Controls feel a bit sluggish though from playing. Might be performance issues who knows, will try it at a lower setting when I can.
