Just one statement in Order defense..

Since Bounty hunters stopped invading Minor each day numbers of indies is going down and RP level is going up.
So back then Bounty hunters were abused but then so was the Order.. constant BHG attacks attractive many players up there same as cheap Geb.

After BHG moved away things are going better.

But anyway.. no one mentioned starfliers.. they are most abused ships.. they go everywhere.. they shoot everything.. they can mount and carry what ever they want... really they dont even RP bah.. ship should be deleted:D

If there was a consensus on an overly abused one then it would be a sign it needs to be balanced.

I am hoping to work on indies and Order| to cooperate under a united system that may cover a lot of lose ends like faction players complaining about indies and indies complaining about being left out or ignored / bullied.

HOWEVER, I need a level headed admin (s) to aid my quest on this one so that we can debate on things, near to indie players from Order (and any other faction with a level head) to discuss and come up with something. No one will be 100% satisfied but the average will be higher and issues will be less.


I dunno about most faction players or indies and how do they think of such topics and discussions but I, as the leader of Order for almost a year now (I left it to Kelt for some time due to RL back in 2009 October - Jan 2010 but was still lurking) I feel disturbed of not doing something effective to elevate the overall welfare and stability of a player group (indies and faction players are all players that I feel responsible and I feel that I and OHC should represent both OORP and RP wise) and so these kinda topics are important to see people's reactions.

Overall, Order was always one of the 5 factions named over "abused" or "lolwut" or "SRP needed!" or "game sux there" topics and complaints. I am disturbed by that fact and willing to change it.

Actually, I will open a topic about this tonight when I am back home. If we are not to make things better as faction leaders, group representatives, admins, caring players etc, then why even bothering spending time here more than necessary?

So, these kinda topics, as long as they are not overly biased and flame oriented, are welcome.

Not abused in that manner. Abused in a "Players with that ID abuse their privileges manner". You aimed at the wrong thread.:P

Anywho, the most often abused factions are those where most people flock, really. So, naturally, those are, so far, Outcasts, Corsairs, Order and perhaps a bit of LN (With all those naughty LNS ships, though I don't know what the state of that is at the moment).
By consequence, the less abused are those which have only factionized players (Like Keepers, Phantoms, SCRA) and those where people go solely for the RP, because they don't offer that much pee-vee-pee. Those are, for example, Bretonian factions, Kusari factions and Rheinlanders.

What most people fail to realize, however, is that all factions mostly have an equal(ish) number of good and quality players and RPers. There is, although, a conditionally named 'group' of players who just move around and wreak havoc on the reputations of certain NPC factions. For example, the Order used to be one of the best-averaged factions because it wasn't yet that popular, and when it became such, the situation escalated, but is gradually improving at the moment due to efforts by both the official Order and indies.

So, the lesson is, I guess, lead by example and don't rely on prejudice. A.K.A "Play the game, biatch."

In my experience: Outcasts, and Bounty Hunters.

Outcasts.........loldents.
Hunters.........lolmako.

None of which were official faction people.

The outcasts don't nearly get ganked as much as they need to be. Same goes for the corsairs.

However, the most abused faction for me has got to be Outcasts cos they have to get spanked twice, sometimes three times a day in 37, and they still haven't learnt their lesson after several years of the same routine.
