Junkers as Pirates and Pirates as Terrorists?

I was not in a house system and the Junker played his role just fine. I only asked if this is something you see more often in the game. If yes, then Pirate is the right ID for these people in my opinion.

So the pirates wanted to see me destroying my cargo. They demanded something but this doesn't mean that pirates do things like these.
I mean i know pirates want to be rich by taking other people's property. This is the meaning of piracy. Many times they do it by force and brutal ways. Destroying your own cargo..? They didn't want to take any goods or credits and be reacher but to bring fear and hate. These people are terrorists to me !

Okay, so... in game ID terms, they're pirates. They make demands and get to shoot you if you don't comply. In practical terms, they're terrorists. But that's just splitting hairs - Joker and his thugs have some great RP, and that's what matters.

Also - IDs is something your character doesn't see. They were put in place to support role-play and prevent abuse... looks like they're doing their job.

actually, ID's are shown in roleplay but it's a gray area.

You cannot say that it isn't shown because you couldn't shoot at pirate then who's just "standing there"

Again, shooting at pirate ID player for just standing there is optional, if he roleplays good, you don't have to shoot him.

Then again, if LPI ID isn't shown, why would anyone stop at police hails? couldn't it be a junker with badly damaged but rebuild police ship?
