But you're using one design aesthetic to dismiss an entire ship and disregarding every other aspect of it. Should we ignore the remainder of the ship simply because of that?

95% of that ship is the 2 pontoons, then there's half of a chimaera strapped to the back of them.

This has Kusari engines, same chimaera style back (now with proper dimensions) and including the vertical fin, and a boat-like front.

Excelent idea, as the Hogosha would have probably got one of it's allies to build it.

Or the other idea is let the KNF have the new model and the Hogosha have the old Cat, the RP could be that it is now an old military ship sold off to the Hogosha.

oh please let that old ugly lowpoly model go... only good thing on curent cat is tinny profile from back so it ocupie only minimal part of your screen (in comparation Thor is beast taking a lot space on your monitor:D)

It's an excellent model, and while there may be aspects of it that are akin to other Kusari ships, the whole package doesn't fit at all.

Put it somewhere else, please.
