Message to: KNF High command
Comm ID: Vladimir Abelard, ambassador of =BSG=, aboard BSG 62-Pegasus
Subject: Helghast attack
Esteemed,
President D'Lunar informed me about outrageous attack upon your vessels while being on supposed "diplomatic mission". Whole BSG command looks at that with utter repugnance. Such disrespect of diplomatic procedure is unheard of.
I have been instructed to inform you about our readiness to help in any way. If you need supply's, fighter or capital ship escorts, some cargo transfered, part of our fleet that is stationed in Honshu system is at your disposal. I would like to remind you that Battlestar Pegasus is still docked at planet Honshu along with its fighter wing and exploration ships. We will do everything in our power to help your navy against possible kidnapping of ambassador DeLuna .
In the interests of security I urge the Diplomatic Corps not to entertain enemy battleships for talks without overwhelming firepower to back them up. It would be wise to limit discussion at close proximity to civilian shuttles (or small freighters).
{ High security transmission to all KNF command posts :
This is not a honourable dual this is base trickery. In future don't hesitate to use all resources available to demonstrate who these star systems belong to - white flag or no. If resources are lacking due to war requirements, do not gamble your lives on them behaving honourably. That's extending too much trust.
If they want to play dirty, fine. They will pay a dear price for that lapse of judgement.
There's an old Earth saying - I know it was on Earth but it's in Kusari too - that says, "Fool me once, shame on — shame on you. Fool me — you can't get fooled again." You can see the wisdom there.

{ High security transmission to BSG group from New Tokyo Central Communications Centre :
In this time of strife, thank you for aiding the security and safety of the people of Kusari. I suggest private communication with the ambassador ((Harlequinn)) as to where the best place for your Battlestar battleship(s) would be: usually KNF High Command wishes to avoid complications by asking all allied or neutral battleships to dock outside Kusari space; maybe, however, our diplomatic corps will decide to extend hospitality to your most powerful capital ships without complaint.

The news of Helghast violating the laws in place concerning diplomatic missions is a disturbing, and rather condemning one.
Though they may be allies of our allies, we do not condone such behavior, or dishonorable actions. Nor do we encourage cowardice.
The Helgast's friendly status to the AW is revoked. Now neutral, if these actions continue, it could very well be they will end up at a very unhappy standing with the AW, and barred from our homes.
We encourage any compensation fees forced upon the Helghast. It is a very real possibility that we might even decide to protect neutral and innocent diplomats currently residing on Zoner stations and planets. Assassination has always been a part of warfare, but the killings and attempted killings of innocents is something far beyond warfare, and of extremely criminal nature. Nothing short of terrorism, and the killings of people upon Zoner planets is something that we will respond to with force.
The AW will gladly allow the use of Freeport 9 of Omicron Theta, and Freeport XV of Omicron-74 for diplomatic missions, where the AW can guarantee the safety of the diplomats and the prevention of hostilities.

I want to make this clear right now. I wake up this morning, to find this, all of this talk if us breaking 'diplomatic laws.' Now, I understand that we had come to take ambassador deLuna hostage and that is the true part. The aprt I don't get, is where we came under the disguse of a diplomatic mission. I had given NO orders to any of my men saying that we were talking with the KNF. I was assuming the whole time while my ship was en-rout to Honshu that my men inside Honshu were already fighting with your ships. I was personaly shocked to see otherwise. Something WILL be done about this. Now, also, I want you to use your common sense on this part, I you saw the PLanet Killer, would you assume that it was for 'Diplomatic' reasons? No, I would never use a ship of that strengh for anything Diplomatic and I only use it if there is enemies to be Destroyed.
Anyways, The Prophet Scholar Viscari is comming to Sirius and he will talk with all of us more on this Subject.

What???
You deny using subterfuge, when the KNF action report clearly states that your fat tub of a vessel supposedly was there to ask "Questions" of the Ambassador?? My Goddess, man, you are a foul prevaricator of the worst sort!
Continue these bald face lies, and you shall receive a well-deserved Pie in your face, courtesy Laughing Goddess Bakeries, LLC.
Threaten a citizen of Canaria or a relative of a TAZer again with abduction or bodily harm, sir, and bugger our neutrality as Zoners. We will come spank you bloody!
Talk with your "prophet". Perhaps he can divine the exact spot where all your brains leaked out!
With abject contempt,
Reggie
(Apologies, KNF, I will not sully your personal frequencies again. Rest assured that whenever Madam deLuna is in residence, the TAZ will be on the lookout for foul smells. R.W.)
Well! It seams the human was foolish enough to mistake the word 'Question,' specifically put in brakets for your own help, was meant that. I'm sure you understand that must no mean what it you would think. I am dissapointed in your thoughts human.
And anyways, I shall be taking my leave now.

An attempt to break the Holman defense perimeter was defeated this evening.
The destroyer SFDS Askari and Battleship SFBS Repulse were engaged just inside the ice packs. Luring the larger Battleship into the ice, our forces were able to concentrate fire on the Destroyer with little interference. Once Askari was burning we turned on the Repulse which had managed to damage some of Osaka's secondary systems. The crew of the Osaka send their compliments to the gunners of the Repulse. Being stuck stationary in an iceflow not being ideal firing conditions they did a fair amount of damage and made our job difficult.
Repulse executed a tactical withdrawal to the McDuff Blockade line. We pursued and intercepted multiple times but weren't able to keep our quarry out of cruise. Repulse stood its ground at McDuff where the extra fire support forced our fighter escort to evade more. The combined defensive systems of the two battleships was intense but we were able to finish the job just before a general withdrawal was called by high command. being out numbered by multiple Bretonian patrols entering the Harris Sector we retreated back to Nago.
Regardless of means, attempting to take an ambassador hostage is despicable. The KNF declare unlimited and complete hostility with the Helghast. Hunting them in foreign systems is authorised (with permission from any allied and friendly forces whose territory might be visited) and bounties will be considered (to be announced shortly).
Omni Industries are put on notice that their reputation in Kusari, and in Sirius as a whole, is at risk of collapse pending investigations into an attack on a fellow Liberty company. It may be 'liberty' in some parts of the sector but here in our space you will obey common law. Breaching it by murdering people will get you a life sentence in cold, lonely prison.
Today I was in my room on Holman Station when my comm from KNFC went off calling all nearby fighters to assemble, regardless of status.
My leave has been interrupted yet again. I headed to my Chimera. Once deployed I found the Hex 23 and a KNF Destroyer, being engaged by SF Battlestar. I of course dove in and attacked. My Nova connon firing firey death into the shield, I was trying to cut a hole so I could dock and attack from within, but to no avail. As soon as I began my assault the BS engaged Cruise and tried to run.
Our Destroyer blocked the retreat to Leeds and the BS ran towards 29. We fell into pursuit as we didn't expect that response. The transponders picked up a subspace transmission for SF Command.
Sub-Space Transmission intercepted and decoded....
I am going to park this thing in front of NT.
Jester out.
Sub-Space Transmision completed....
The Hex successfully escaped and sent in the Chijin, as the fight progressed into Tau-29. Upon reahing Deshima Station we happened upon the Osaka engaged by a number of NovaPG pirates. I hailed and invited him to support in exchange for some as well.
Fierce fighting in and out of Trade Lanes all the way into Kyushu.
To a man we couldn't believe our eyes on sensors. The SF BS and the Nova PG grouped together to fight us! As a BSG BS Pegasus came to support us from New Tokyo.
I engaged NovaPG-Dragon (GB) one on one and was holding my own until ordered to regroup or repair and I broke off. Signalling as such, the NovaPG disengaged. I docked with Deshima Station, and during the docking process was abruptly fired upon by the SF BS.
I held back from joining the fun again as the SF BS was more than I could handle on my own, it was eventually destroyed and the NovaPG dispersed back towards Kyoto.
The rest of the time I was patrolling nothing of consequence came about.
KNF light fighter pilot Moramoto reporting. Yesterday in System Honshu I engaged two NovaPG ships of sleek and unfamiliar design - my lack of experience in the cockpit is little excuse for not being able to name the ships in question. They were as agile as my light fighter but packed a punch than could disable my newly acquired shield generator in an instant. For minutes - it felt like forever - we circled each other on full strafe-turn with occasional feints with reverse thrusters and many of their torpedoes were wasted. I scored several hits on their shields though their speed was astounding. Eventually good teamwork and good piloting skills cut through my ship's shields and armour and it was too badly damaged to fly. I ejected and retreated to safety. My apologies to KNF high command for failing to defend the homeland. I am still recovering from a bout of space sickness and dizziness caused by circling for so long. The NovaPG's ships and pilots are like nothing I ever encountered in simulations - they are a force to be reckoned with.
