Well, their CEO type said that Half Life franchise will continue, but they are planning to end the story of Freeman.

Half Life = money, so it will continue till forever.

This is fast getting annoying. Valve better get a real masterpiece together after all this waiting or there are going to be a lot of disappointed gamers out there. HL2 EP3 is fast coming a make it or break it title that will have a huge effect on Valve's rep to be able to deliver good games.
