I'm a bit tired, so it's not the best I could do, but I'm out of ideas right now ... also I'm missing the texture files for your version of the Roc, so I used what I have ... more or less .. ^^

Well, I just edited the Wiki pic for the old Roc in photoshop to get the other Roc I posted earlier, Those other Roc renders look so smexy! I might PM you later to do me a few renders from different angels pwease? D:

I already did something with it, which still needs more work, but I'll post it here so You'll see what I have in mind for this design. Just give it a shot and see what you can get. Also, the font I used is This.

Oh, and quality drop is because of the '256 color GIF' thingie, so many colors, and it gets poofed when you convert to GIF.

Your edit's pretty nice, I'm not sure if I could come up with something better. Nice texture and patterns. I'll come up with something if you really need me to, though.
