was trading today as scruffy, and met up with four nova guys, who all started chasing me.
I made it across tau 31, and tau 29, thought I went through the kyushu gate first, but they where on the other side waiting.
fortunately, i have a VIII armor reinforcement in my TRAIN, and managed to get docked before they were able to destroy me.
and i commenced to taunting them, they were saying i would die for what i did. They expected me to undock just so they could kill me?
I dont think so.
then one of them claimed I was non rp'ing in chat....which surprised me.
i thought i was.
I'm a law abiding citzen, only carry legal goods, then allways heaving over so the military can scan etc, etc.

twice now i was accused of non rp chat, and behavior.

lets see now, they started chiming that i was gonna die.

so i stuck my tongue out at them. : P

then after I docked they claimed I was gonna pay for that, so i said,' poor baby'

then i got the blast that I wasn't RP'ing in chat.

so who is the one to tell me that I wasn't RP'ing in Chat, what did you guys expect me to do?

I never think of pictures, so no i dont have any.
I only started this char yesterday or the day before. and allready have 60 mil.
I dont think i did anything wrong, just upset me that I wasn't playing so they could benefit???

So where is the Rule where I have to die to complete RP?

It irritated me, so i logged off, and came here.

Yes im still docked, take money away, I'll just re earn it.

Just so you know you cant dock when you are being attacked by pirates its against the server rules(I think) and if you want to talk out of RP then put OOC: or put brackets around your messege so its not going to be out of RP.

Uhh, you ARE allowed to dock when being chased by pirates.. Thats how you ESCAPE the pirates.. A Train can't beat pirate fighters, how can traders be expected to win a fight? Docking is very much legal.

Also, some people's opinions of non-RP chat differs. The NovaPG taunted a docked trader, the trader taunted back. I'd say thats pretty feasible RP-chat.

My opinion:

You did nothing wrong there. A traders first job is to trade and deliver cargo. Docking whilst being chased when you are a trader is fair game... but once you dock, you are stuck. No more trading for you for a while, matey.

Another thing, make sure it's a lawful base if you're carrying lawful goods, unless your trader is tagged differently.

I would say you should try to refrain from using ":P" and ":D" etc etc. Be a little more thoughtful in your responses. Your actual character wouldn't do that, since you're docked and they wouldn't see. But feel free to trash talk an entire wasteland to pirates, they deserve it! Theiving buggars!!

This is part of the problem ... Which set of rules are you reading ? Not the ones printed here I think.
For Gods sake lets stop making stuff up as we go along shall we ...
Dock Scruffy, and talk their bleeding ears off, absolutely nothing they can do. Just talk like your char would ...
They lose, you can't trade till they get bored is the price, but your butt is intact.

Arr Scruffy... Best remain a trader. I'd hate to see you flyin a brand spankin new military vessel with all that money you're makin. Guess I'll have to look for ya online. Can't stand traders rackin up the funds just to turn into Liberty Navy or such. Kinda messes with us pirates a bit.

As to your taunts - you can expect me or any other pirate to hunt you like the dog you are. However, should you be movin some Light Arms to me Rogues and smugglin Cardamine to help out me Rogues, I'd consider you tollerable and might just leave ya alone.

Hmm, but then again, looking at the no F1 rule, let's take a hypothetcal situation:

Trader X escapes from pirate Y and docks on a... zoner base. Y plays the waiting game, X may not F1 (is stuck), but, the recently added idlety booting mechanism will kick the trader after some time. That will look like an F1.

and yes, i did duty on board 4 carriers, and 3 Destroyer Escorts, worked on F-8's, and F-14's....(trying to mod a F-14), still in there, too embaresed to show it.

I was a Jet Mechanic, spent 'DAYS', with little to no time off, working on these beasts.
