Drake Sato, Kusari Guildmaster

A gruff, yet distinguished looking man steps in front of a video transmitter on board Deshima station in the Shikoku system. There is a large window behind him looking out onto the crowds waiting to get travel visas to enter Kusari. His name is Drake Sato, Liberty born but of Kusari descent. Chosen partially for his experience as a Bounty Hunter and partially for his ancestral ties to Kusari. He turns his worn, chiseled features into some semblance of a smile and takes a deep breath.

Guild members, brothers..

For those of you that know me, you know I am not a man of many words. I am addressing you from my new post as Kusari Guildmaster here on Deshima Station. For many years our Guild has had a troubled relationship with the house of Kusari, it will be my job to turn that around. If the Guild intends to monopolize all security contracts in Sirius then we cannot continue to exclude Kusari. I know as well as you do that I was mainly chosen for this post thanks to my grandparents, natives of Honshu. I've personally never been there, though I hope to get the chance to pay a visit once things settle down here. Do not think though that I am some spoiled tart that was handed this position just to be a pretty face. Any Guild pilots that do not follow my direction in Kusari will answer to me personally, and I do NOT tolerate any form of your typical cowboy attitude.

Now that we have the nonsense out of the way, I bring good news. You've already heard from Guildmaster Graves that I have been in negotiation with the government here in Kusari. Out of those negotiations some good news has sprung forth. I am proud to announce a new contract for us with Kusari. Unfortunately it is not exclusive, the government and business interests here, especially Samura, were rather insistent that a group called the Ronin be contracted as well. That is a matter I will deal with at a later time, but regardless there is a great deal of money to be made here. I am putting out a call to all Guild Hunters to come to Kusari and dip into the great wealth that is on the table. Details of the contract will be transmitted momentarily.

I would like to reinforce that this contract was not easily made. As you all know, Kusari and the Guild have had a very rough history together. However, both myself and several Kusari officials have put a lot of work into pushing this contract through and I will not tolerate anyone not abiding by my guidelines in Kusari. For now Guild ships are not to travel through New Tokyo, Kyushu, or Honshu. Follow the contract to the letter, and you can make a fortune, go against the grain and you'll be out of here so fast you wont know what hit you.
