Can demand any non-house police or non-house military ships to drop any contraband
Yes, contraband. As definied by house law, I guess. Doubt that you can just declare ore as contraband.

The ID usually states who you are allowed to attack, in which case. Only cuz there's no interdiction doesn't mean that you are allowed to do it. Vigilants are meant to hunt unlawfuls.
' Wrote:As long as it is in Rp i guess it fine to tell them to drop ore and then engage if they won't. But i get your point. We could use like IMG id cause they are allowed to attack the major mining companies. But we don't really like IMG either cause they are mining out the fields to. This leads us to the Vigilante ID. Which with some good RP there's nothing saying we can't attack miners.
Yeah, IMG ID would be an option. Pirate ID would fit, too, but of course it's unlawful. Nevetheless you could do anything with it that you are intending..
Well, I don't know if you could be hired by an Indie Miner ingame if you are using Merc ID to harass mining companies. Could be a possibility.

Im not sure either. But much about the faction isn't decided but i thought vigilante id would be the best way to go. And O-7 is not a part of any house so i don't know what counts as contraband there exactly.

First of all. If there's no interdictions it most of times is because it's mean't to be decided by the rp by the player that uses the id (Only my own thoughts). And also in RP we think the big companies are unlawful. Just like in real life those who hunt whalehunters. There are no rules on international water so actually the whale hunters aren't unlwaful. So that means that those who hunt whale hunters is unlawful. We are the ones who hunt whale hunters. We are semi-lawful.

With IMG ID the whole concept fails cause they are one of the biggest mining comanies. Being Unlawful isn't really an option cause we wouldn't be able to sell the ore to indies then anyway. Only to junkers or mad oorp guys. The being hired thingie doesn't really wotk either cause it is mean't to be guild. It will be hard to attack a convoy of heavly armored miners and escorts all alone and then again the concept fails cause i wont make enough impact.
Ore is not contraband in any existing jurisdiction.
Demanding someone drop it would be piracy.
Characters Alan Markson: The Hellfire Legion's Lord Commander The Perihelion: Freeport Four's guardian, and yet much more. Missing and assumed Lost with all hands. Eric Dresmund: Junker, smuggler, thief. Last seen drunk on Beaumont Vayrn Wyard: IMG Recon pilot turned Neo-Terran Captain. Last location unknown

As mentioned above, Junker ID could work. They are allowed to pirate in non-house space, where most of the mining fields are. But it could cause some "political" issues if Junkers start to terrorize the big mining companies. However, it's an interesting idea. You can get it a try.
' Wrote:Also, how is O-7 laws? Do they have any? Would it be allowed to demand ore contraband there?
Hmm, ore is simply not contraband. Omega 7 is controlled by the IMG and Rheinland. It's no house space of Rheinland, so the law's don't cover it. The IMG has it's own laws about contraband, and the ID states that they can demand any contraband in Taus and Omegas. Wonder if they could declare any ore as contraband that isn't transported by IMG...
Edit: Good luck, interesting concept.:D

I think Junker id will work so i'll give the faction a go. I'm gonna make history etc. a bit later. But i now really think this is going to work. And also about you're last sentence, I think not. Even if some parts of IMG has megalomania i don't think they would make that kind of laws. But it isn't impossible cause there's nothing that IMG would want more than getting all ore to themselves.
