7.11 Owners of Terrirst IDs have a right to attack:
- Trader ships that do not pay for passage
- Everyone else
7.12 Trader ships are: freighters, utility ships, miner, transports, trains.
Pirates and terrorists have a right to deal as much damage as they see fit before demanding money, but killing trader ship before demanding money is not allowed.
Attacking traders or demanding cargo is not allowed for cruisers and battleships, unless cruisers and battleship belong to Terrorist ID or Phantom ID owner.

2. They have PHANTOM IDs. They CAN kill you whenever they feel like. They aren't abusing that priviledge.
Take it to PMs
is a Phantom ID different from a terrorist or a pirate? meaning that they don't have to ask for payment before destroying a trader?
Phantoms are a specialized RP-oriented faction. They can basically kill anyone they want, except possibly the Outcasts and Zoners, and those are iffy, too.

The Phantoms have been around for quite some time. Even if it's not in the server rules already, it doesn't really need to be, because they're pretty much accepted as, while small, some of the best pilots on the server. Any three of us that aren't Vets, taking on one Phantom, are probably all dead within thirty seconds. I like to think I keep a healthy respect-and distance-for and from them.

so if they fall within one of these categories then the rules say they can attack whoever they want but they still can't kill a trader without demanding payment
Dreygon, you are right, rules should be updated so they reflect the general consensus here on forums which is that a terrorist can attack anyone without warning. At least that is my impression that this is the way everyone looks at it...
Thanks for pointing that out, it needs to be fixed...
Quote:Pilot carrying this ID is one of the Phantoms. Phantom ID owners can attack any lawful and most unlawful ships at will and participate in military operations on unlawful side. Phantom ID owners are not allowed to ally with lawful forces and demand cargo from traders.
Phantoms ID carriers can attack ANY lawful they wish. This includes traders. They can also kill most unlawfuls. This includes smugglers.
They can't demand cargo, but they CAN just blow you to h*ll.
Phantom ID is not Terrorist ID. Phantom ID is not Pirate ID. The allowances and restrictions for Phantom ID are found on the Phantom ID.
Most of us just remember that 'Phantom=Instant Death.' It's annoying at times, the different ID rules, but you have to get used to it. It's just part of the game.

See Dreygon, taking it to PMs would have been a little more subtle, and appreciated. Anyone posting OOC in
the message dump will have Kane, Virus, and myself asking the nearest admin to remove the post with extreme
prejudice, as quick as you like.
Its considered a touch rude round here to invite yourself into other people's RP messaging systems without
any prior consent, and certainly not to have a bitch about things you obviously have taken the time to check
up on. OOC is out of the question.
The Phantoms are in an extremely unique position here, thanks mainly to Igiss and to our not abusing any
privileges afforded us by this. Its treated as an honour to be able to RP as such, and in accordance with this,
we have to be a darn sight more careful about the server rules.
Thank you for your time. Saved me a PM ...
