AFTER ACTION REPORT
Around 15:00 Sirius Standard TIme, I debarked from mt duty station on Planet Houston in response to a communique from Recruit A.Rogers on the LLEC about a possible attack by a group of freelancers at Norfolk. When I arrived at Norfolk, I found 3 outcast fighters and 1 bomber engaged in a battle with a Liberty battlecruiser of unknown affiliation and 3 navy contractors (not flying under the LN flag). I proceeded to report the stiuation to Vice Admiral Anderson, who was in Ontario at the time aiding Recruit Rogers, and then to join the battle in hopes of saving the crippled battlecruiser. I am pleased to say that the battlecruiser was saved and the bomber destroyed. I am less pleased to say that the outcasts counter-attacked almost immediately with Rouge reenforcements from the badlands. Once repaired, I led the Battlecruiser and the group of navy contractors in support of the gunboat free-eagle against this new wave of attackers. Unfortunately, the navy ships retreated back to Norfolk almost immediatly and I was unnable to prevent the bombers from destoying the free-eagle single handedly. I did however rescue the pilot of the eagle and transport him safely to the shipyard. During this time, I continually reported to Vice Admiral Anderson and requeted desperately needed fighter support. Unfortunately, I was not able to hold out until further support arrived and my sihp was destroyed after a protracted battle with Arbiter as I attempted to defend the battlecruiser. Fortunately, my proximity to Norfolk Shipyard allowed for my swift recovery. I look forward to returning to active service as soon as I am able to requisition a new ship.

This is Recruit Andrew Rogers uploadin' first flight patrol log file.
On this patrol I was assigned to Captain Jack Malrone, a real honor flyin' with a man like him I must say.
Captain Malrone and I went out to sweep the California system as there were rumors goin' on and about of criminal activity in that system.
When we were in the lane between California Minor and Planet Mojave a unknown vessel showed up on our scanners. Captain Malrone tried to hail the unknown vessel after it stopped near us, after a couple o' minutes it started to talk.. for as far you can call it talkin'. Somethin' about watchers of the stars, and that they aren't our kin.
The scanners were goin' all crazy on me when I tried to scan it, we both never seen anything like it. From what we could make of it this.. thing tried to tell us who.. it is. Naming itself Keepers of the stars, Slomon K'hara and even the word Nomads.
That last word rang a bell with the Captain, told me that this thing might even be hostile. Couldn't really figure that a vessel showing images of some sort o' a woman can be friendly as fire ants.
The Captain saw no threat in the unknown vessel and we left it alone, we returned back. The Captain had to dock on Riverside Station probably to check up on their long range scanner logs.
Continuin' patrol on my own I ran into some gunboat and cruiser commanders. They seem to be alerted of the situation goin' on with the unknown vessel, and they told me that this thing actually needs to be shot on sight. It was clear to me they knew a lot more then I do, I spotted the unknown vessel again.
Seemed this vessel had access to our jump gates and managed to jump itself into New York, it was there were the commanders of the Intrepid, Cooper and Angel catches up. They hailed the unknown vessel which quickly changed into a shoot out, the vessel got destroyed.
I'm still wonderin' what that was all 'bout, I might just go do some diggin' about these 'Keepers of the stars'
Not lettin' my thoughts block the things at hand I continued my patrol. I spotted a Liberty Rogue close to Planet Manhattan who immediately turned around towards the Jersey Debris Field.
At the edge of the field the Rogue stopped and turned, waitin' for me to catch up probably. The Rogue who showed as 'Bomber' on my radar was surprisingly enough flyin' a bomber ship. This Bomber guy seemed to hold a Gunboat Captain as hostage, after I demanded the Rogue to drop the Captain he decided to launch a supernova on top of my shield.
I answered his action with my magma's, leadin' into his ship explode close to Rochester. The Gunboat Captain was injured but he's going to make it. I ended my patrol after droppin' the captain off at the hospital.

Lieutenant Maximo Valeri
[color=#FF7700]Fired up my engines for a regular patrol through the New York system today. Hell, this was rather funny. I didn't even managed to get a few meters from the docking port before I spotted a Liberty Rogue Gunboat drifting right past me. Of course the bastard decided to make a run for it when I told him to stand down.
[color=#FF6600]So I started chasing him and simultaneously coordinated with nearby LNS-vessels to intercept the vessel near Fort Bush. A few minutes later and the Rogue found himself trapped. I asked a few standard questions regarding his presence here in New York when I realized he was just buying time for his compadres to show up.
Now we were surrounded by two hostile Fighters, a bomber, alongside with the Gunboat we had been chasing across the star-system. A few insults were slinged at us through the comms and I got the feeling that they were about to open fire at any given second so I launched up the private transmissions and called in recruit Samuel Lennox to assist us on the up-coming battle.
The gunboat and the bomber were quickly dispatched and now we had the two fighters severely outgunned but I ordered all allies to stand-down with the exception of Recruit Samuel and myself to deal with the last threat. A small skirmish ensued between the four of us and we were facing two very skilled opponents. They knew how to maneuver their ships properly and had an eagle-eye for aiming. Although we did manage to cause heavy damage to the opponent we ultimately required the assistance of a third fighter in order to beat them without any losses on our side.
The criminals realized by now that the new combined firepower would quickly end their lives so they made a run for it towards the Colorado system. There, another chase occurred and unfortunately we lost track of one of them, however we did bring the other one down.
Today we celebrate a special occasion, one that perhaps should have come sooner, but nonetheless, here we are. After countless hours in space, after the many patrol reports filed, the time spent dedicated to this service, these officers have not changed, or perhaps changed for the better. It is my honor to recognize these individuals.
Angelina Dimitrova. Your brother would be proud. From the start you have shown qualities fit for something more. Continued time in space has not gone unnoticed, and so congratulations, Sub Lieutenant. May you be seen as a role model for the recruits and ensigns.
Joseph Backus. A quiet one'¦ with an apparent liking for having snark comments handy. However, we've seen you out there and while that attitude may be checked by Commodore Robinson, your commitment still holds true. Congratulations Sub Lieutenant.
Kentarus Toliman. You have shown dedication to the extreme. Regardless of the events that occurred, you stayed with us, helped us, and continued on. You now have your rank of Lieutenant Commander restored. May you continue what you have shown thus far.
Christopher Hood. It seems Commodore Robinson was correct a while back. Time and time again you've shown yourself capable while in the field of battle or in patrols. With this consistency, it seems we have little to do but to congratulate you, Lieutenant Commander.
Jason Hunter and Samuel Lennox are now promoted to the rank of Ensign for their dedication and commitment to the Liberty Navy. This means that you two may now fly the Avenger or Guardian class vessels. Congratulations and may the two of you have continued success.
For the new Ensigns... it seems Captain Casero wanted to say his piece.
Quote:Congratulations Maggots, now that you have been promoted by our dear Admiral, you will attract more shots, which is good for me, not so much for you, but ok, you are now authorized to go to toilet after me. Have fun.
[color=#FFFFFF]Riverton is completely oblivious! I can hardly believe such an astute and prestigious scientist could be so gullible and naive. One man's foolishness will prove to be my ultimate uprising! The old codger has actually given me permission to go to Kodiak Research Station in Alaska to pick up Nomad test samples in his place. He's busy tending to wounded from yesterday's battle and keeping the miners stable. The possibilities for these samples are endless. There's very little we know about Nomad physiology, but if we can decipher how they communicate telepathically with one another, we may even be able to learn their social structure and even effectively communicate back! This opportunity is too precious to pass up. Perhaps I'll keep one of the samples for myself. None will be the wiser. It's astonishing to me how easily my plans are falling into place. Truly these most auspicious occasions are less than fate. I can feel my destiny reaching out to me. The serum, though my self-trials are continuing, almost seems secondary to my objective of learning more about our alien neighbors. It's as if my mind doesn't even need to be told what to do anymore. It's as if I'm on autopilot and everything I must do is so much clearer to me. I don't know why I ever fought it. Alright, time for my next dosage.
[color=#FFFF33]Raynor sets his notebook down and takes a rubber clamp in hand. He twists it around his arm, holding it tight with his teeth as he runs the needle down his arm almost sadistically. Finding the sweet spot, which has become easy from the previous punctures, he pushes the needle through the newly healed skin and shoves his thumb down on the plunger, pushing the drug deep into his vein and flushing his system with it all over again. He pushes his head back against his chair as a deep gasp escapes him and he sinks into the seat exhausted.

Good Evening. Admihral Hale already knows 'bout this, but ya gotta file the paperwork. Bloody stinkin' paperwork.....*mutters*
Anyways, launched outta Missouri, found da Cape Horn with Admihral on board, we chased a Harvester thingy
into da badlands, hope da Rogues ate it. Heard of an engagement outside Manhattan, rushed in.
Was a big stinkin' fight aw'right. A Rogue Gunboat with a couple of bombers, we took them on, with assist from them Border Patrol guys. Those guys.....*begins muttering* are one of the most inept and stupid of officers Ah've seen. They didn't obey a direct order, and we lost the Horn with Admihral on it. Luckily he escaped. Soon after I was podded by friendly fire. The heck?
I dunno what Admihrals feel on this, but I am pretty bloody pissed!
Origin : Dreadnought LNS-Louisiana, Captain Kurt KONOR, 2nd fleet. To : Liberty Navy forces report !
Object : 10/08 around 20h00 Sirius Time, Rheinlanders intruders
Message :
Around 20h00 ST, I received a transmission from LNS-Angel who report an important Rheinlander fleet at Hamburg system. We received the order to gather Liberty forces to Battleship Mississippi !
After gathering, my battleship received order to cover the Bering jumpgate. Only few minuts after took position, a rheinlander's scout jumped. He never answered to our transmission. 5 minuts pass and a huge Rheinlander's fleet jumped into Texas system.
There were 2 cruisers, 2-3 gunboats and lot of bombers and small fighters. And our defensive fleet was small, our dreadnought, 1 gunboat, 1 bomber and 1 or 2 fighter(s).
At this time all know we wasn't here to have a discussion, but to fight. I immediatly called reinforcements, but some interferences blocked our transmissions, so we was alone for a moment.
Rheinlanders engaged us, I immediatly ordered to my spaceship crews to turn back the Louisiana from Rheinlanders, first moments were unbelieveable, mortars fired from everywhere, we took several heavy damages but our plan worked. The Rheinlanders fleet wasn't one fleet, but 2 fleets now.
In my side there were the Lousiana, Azrael gunboat and Maddox against 2 rheinlander cruisers, 2 gunboats and a bomber. And in the other side were our bomber Julien LaFayette and some fighters who finaly received our reinforcement transmissions ! Julien LaFayette was disabled to made any damages to the 4 fighters who was in his six, but in his race of life, he kept busy several minuts 4 enemies fighters before he succeed to escape.
After I was sure that we were away from the second fight, I put the Louisiana in offensive position, the ship turned back in front of 2 cruisers, all turrets were enabled, all of it fired. The first cruiser was defeated in few seconds, the second cruiser took this opportunity to be out of my turrets range, but now the fight turned to us. Our gunboat fired at will, the cruiser took damages a made a mistake, he was now at our range and was defeated.
That was time for gunboats, one of two was easily defeated and the second few minuts after.
The fight was done, the Lousiana got heavy damages, 18 crews were killed by decompression, but our victory was clear !
Thanks to all who was with us, thanks to reinforcements, thanks to Liberty !

On patrol today I responded to a communication from a Hacker callsign Milton.Krest who tried to bribe me for intel regarding *CLASSIFIED* installation. After refusing the Hacker's attempts to make me betray my homeland he let it be known his intention was to destroy me. His Scimitar Class Light Fighter proved outclassed as he fell to my missile salvo.
2 Sabre Class VHF's showed up towards the end of our encounter and upset at the loss of their comrade decided to engage me. Hacker VHF Black Friar met a sticky end on a Nuclear mine next!
The remaining contact was a Sabre VHF Callsign Mr.Sanguinetti who fought bravely for a time then retreated feigning tiredness after his Nano load was all but depleted.
After this engagement I returned to *CLASSIFIED* for supplies and de-brief.
