This is to report a conflict between SA pilots, Cathartic and Suraci. Today at 11:34 hours there was a conflict between SA pilots Ana Jane and James Stewart and Cathartic who was supported by Suraci. Stewart's ship was severely damaged and he had to retreat for repairs. I had a long fight with Cathartic during which I was keeping his shields down almost all of the time. Unfortunately, a problem with the engine kill mechanism of my ship placed me in a major tactical disadvantage which lead to the downing of SA-Anaes. I ejected safely.
After my ship was recovered, and repaired, I and Steward retreated to Virginia to work on improving our skills.
OOC: Magnum I'm sure that you will handle your operation with the same determination you show in space. Good luck and Godspeed. There will always be a place in the SA for you.

ok I've been over to the other side, i read their story of what happened... its like a nicely edited news report if i may add.. but believe what you will... here's our side
i was chilling in Texas scanning for traders, hell even identified a smuggler (lemn, cardamine smuggling, but thats not the topic now).
trader was able to dock... therefore i resumed patrolling Texas.
then the 2 HF came in. they claim to have wanted to talk... right, using their guns... after 1/9th of my shield was depleted i responded by reminding them of the deal they made with the SA.
the presented their case off being attacked by a Navy NPC aligned ship and held us responsible... so i tried to explain that the person in question was not our responsibility... they kept saying otherwise and demanded revenge via blowing me up or getting reimbursement for their losses.
after a lengthy, aimless discussion, testosterone kicked in... then fireworks...
ok, i lack the PROPER SCREENSHOTS to fully paint this picture... so i'm banking on both sides not wanting war...
gentlemen, take it out on the player who messed with you... not the SA. It'd be easier to hunt down 1 guy than go to war with an entire faction...
ooc: Sorry to post ooc in your dump, but I want to correct a few things.
First of all, that was an RP raid, as my character didn't know that the South Alliance is seperate from the rest of the Liberty Navy. that's MY CHARACTER, not ME.
Second, you're mixing a lot of ooc and inaccuracies into that. one, we never claimed we wanted to talk until we ceased fire. And remember, my CHARACTER was the one attacking, and he had every right to be mad, as as far as he knew, he had been attacked by you. When you said that you don't have responsibility, he stopped the attack and basically said: What?! You aren't taking responsibility for your own men? Remember, my character never knew before today that your aren't part of the regular navy.
Third, the discussion was all RP, and not aimless at all ,the aim was to get repayment for the wrongs caused by (as far as my character knew) you. When you told my character that you were not part of the regular navy, he was, of course, quite suprised.
Forth, remember, except when I said ooc, it was my CHARACTER, Grand Admiral Denelo Mori of the Hellfire Legion, talking.
It seems some people are going above their rank recently... though I won't be posting any names, you know who you are so remove the evidence before I do something rash.
Hopefully that will sort itself out.

As some of you will know, Commander Razr was promoted to Captain Razr in the field a few days ago. This is the formal announcement of that promotion. Congrats to you too.
