Your problem with the Upholder is essentially that it is a light bomber. So you turn around and make a lighter bomber.
Makes perfect sense.
Also, the model is a kitbash, as has been said before. There's little "art" to it that might make me overlook the fact that it's doing nothing to address the niche you want it to address. You're probably better off with an SHF, honestly...
' Wrote:Quite a beautiful model. I do agree that something more along the lines of a "ship mash" would be the best choice, and provides a nice RP background.
Indeed. We will be asking a certain Construction company to build us a Impound yard in Illinois hopefully soon. The RP behind the ship is that it WAS kitbashed in our own hangars.
Star ship and fighter construction by this time is a modularized type of construction, allowing quicker manufacturing and repairs. This also allows individual part and assemblies to be manufactured at several different sites and to be integrated at a few designated areas.
It so happens one of our Sergeants came upon this idea. Yes, a lot of our officers do repair and maintain their ships, due to the extreme nature of this sector, our maintenance dept gets overloaded. What better way to know your ship than to have to work on it and repair it?
So, she came upon the idea of merging the Liberator cockpit section with the rest of a retired Guardian, and thus was born the Peacekeeper bomber.

' Wrote:well it looks more defender then patriot. maybe add parts of the tail section of the patriot and replace the rear spoiler. also why does LPI need a bomber anyway? kickbutt name
Becasue, LPI has a problem with some big heavy transport they cant do like they used to do and call for the nearest navy ship to assist thanks to the rules hampering RP
My two cents:
Scrap the dual torp tubes.
Have a single centraly mounted one for the SNAC, and a hardpoint under the cockpit for the CD.
Lets face it, everyone uses the SNAC+CD, and having a SNAC on the left side of the ship in this big tube, then a CD on the right side in anotehr equaly big tube not only looks a tad off, but can affect aim as well.
Better yet, give it only a single heavy torp slot, and a CD slot.
Tthis model looks great, however the cockpit looks too bretonian.
Make the cockpit more angled prehaps make the whole nose of the ship a tad more pointed.

Thats not a bad idea, 1 tube for the snac and using the cockpit cd hardpoint. I'll look into that for a possible revision.

Thats what it does have, 1 torp slot, 1 CD only slot.
