[INCOMING TRANSMISSION]
ORIGIN: Tau 37 System, Long Range Exploration Ship Tannhauser - Jinkusu Class
BROADCAST TYPE: Broad Spectrum
Greetings Friends.
We do not expect you to know of us, and we regret to know so little of you and how you've come to change after so long.
To introduce ourselves briefly, we are the crew of the Tannhauser. One of thirteen Jinkusu class Colony ships commissioned after the initial discovery of the Persephone. As the Jinkusu line of colony ships were largely self contained and allowed for a significant population, our home, the Tannhauser, was selected to embark on a mission of exploration and research towards a projected location of the Sol system. Suffice to say, we have failed in our original mission but have succeeded in acquiring a vast wealth of data on the many hundreds of systems we had encountered on our way.
We've had some trouble finding our way back, but somehow we've pulled through - and our navigational charts indicate a high probability that we are somewhere in a system that was charted as Tau 37. With limited drive systems, we should arrive at a base which we read as a Freeport within a day or two.
From ambient transmission readings, we've determined the Zoner leadership has become rather fragmented of late - separating into several subfactions reminiscent of the city states of old. If it is possible, we would like to learn of the history which we have missed - along with the fate of the organization which had sponsored our voyage.
At present, our ship is moderately damaged and its equipment is largely obsolete. To our understanding, the Freeport is not large enough to service our ship. If it were possible for technicians with up-to-date technology information could assess the damage and requirements for refit for our own repairs and upgrades, any help in this area would be greatly appreciated - though, any out of ship personnel would require Class 2 Containment compliant suits and rebreathers for their safety.
There is also a matter concerning the health of our crew - there was an incident involving alien plant matter which has left us dependent on a non-psychotropic but very addictive substance. If it were possible, we would greatly appreciate any medical help regarding this matter.

Greetings, Commander of the Tannhauser,
I am Dr. John Henry Holliday and I am the administrator for the Temporary Autonomous Zoners based in the Baffin system. We are a religious group worshiping the Goddess Eris. Beyond our religion, we still live by the old Zoner way as much as possible. Perhaps if we meet, I can give you a better discussion about the various Zoner groups. I'll say this, we may have a few different groups of Zoners but in the end, we all try our best to live the Zoner way uniting under the flag of the Zoner Alliance.
Freeport 10 isn't far from where Baffin is but I will admit, it is a rocky adventure. My suggestion to you is to stay put and we'll send a repair crew to assist you. There really isn't much of a repair outfit for Jinkusus in your area so sending a crew to get you fixed enough to reach one under escort may be the best course of action.
Medically, I can help you. If you can send a detailed scan of some of your crew, I can assess what is needed and have an away team sent right from my own medical hospital from which I currently speak.
*A P.A. announcement is heard in the backround* Dr. Holliday, please contact Dr. Tesh in I.C.U. Dr. Holliday, please contact Dr. Tesh in I.C.U. Thank You
Well, if you will excuse me, I have patients to tend to. I await your response and hope that you also here from some of the other Zoner leaders as well.
Yours in Eris,
Dr. John Henry Holliday

Greetings,
I've received your transmission while I was in Tau-23.
I belong to another Zoner faction called Zoner Trade Consortium.
I'm not sure what is the best for you now:
- reach a safer place with all installations needed to rebuild your ship and health your people. In that case we could manage an escort convoy.
- we bring you all the stuff you need to repair and health. In that case I will design some trading routes in order to provide everything you need in Tau-37.
Let us know what seems the best for you.
Take care, I'm sure we'll meet soon and you'll be alright.
While I have continued my processes without much trouble I have noted that the leadership of Zoner Ore Extraction has been somewhat quiet. On their behalf I am making it known that there are still some within the Zoner Ore Extraction that are out here working. As of this moment I can not think of anything that could possibly help you, but I am sure there is something one of the others in the company can do. I shall forward this message to all other active members of the ZOE. As for me I am located in either Omega 7 or New Tokyo depending on whether I have a full load or not. I could possibly provide minerals and ores. If need be I can also call on a few allys to provide safe transport to more prominent Zoner space.

Greetings, my name is Victor Cross, Chief Executive Officer of Omicron Supply Industries. While it is true that I have never heard of the Tannhauser, I am not surprised. Many many Zoners have taken vessels off into the unknown; I am glad you have managed to make it home. I've dispatched several freighters with supplies; medical, food, clothing, and such.
I myself and very interested in the data and research you've collected on your travels. I'd love access to your databases if you are willing to give me access.

Our sincerest apologies for the delay in our response. Though we have covered quite a bit of ground, the Tannhauser is still quite distance from what our sensors now read as Freeport 10. Seeing the very little amount of time it took for you to respond to our initial broadcast, the science divisions have determined your neural net broadcast nodes are tachyon based as an improvement to our older radio based transmitters. As such, it will take considerably more time for our transmissions to get through than yours - though this lag should decrease as our distance to a neural net transceiver node decreases.
To Doctor Holiday of the Temporary Autonomous Zoners:
It provides us with much relief that the different Zoner factions are still united under one banner - intercepted transmissions indicating distinct groups within the Zoners had worried us to no end as we feared the worst.
As for your recommendation for us to stay put, we will do so as soon as we reach the vicinity of Freeport 10 - though for the safety of both the residents of Freeport 10 and our crew, I will institute a strict quarantine procedure as a precaution against any transference of pathogens in either direction which either group may be susceptible.
When your away team arrives, I would be more than happy to provide class 2 containment suits, re breathers for your men.
Also, feel free to access our catalog of many hundreds of thousands of plant and microbe samples - of which, many have shown promise for medicinal use.
To Dankien Moebus of the Zoner Trade Consortium:
Our logistics division has determined from the silhouette of Freeport 10 that it indeed does not possess the capacity to service a ship as large as the Tannhauser, and has deemed the candidate most likely to house sufficient capability to successfully conduct a large scale repair and refit operation to be Livadia Shipyard in Omicron-74 - where the Tannhauser was originally assembled. However, primary drives remain offline, and optimistic projections for repair times are set between seven and ten days - until then, the Tannhauser can go nowhere fast. There is also a concern with the medical status of our crew, whether or not it would be safe for people from the outside to interact with those of us from the Tannhauser and vice versa. As such, it would be best for us to wait for Doctor Holiday of the Temporary Autonomous Zoners to clear our crew before we reach any densely populated sectors. Afterwards, however, we would be much obliged for any help with regards to escourt or navigational information on our way to Omicron-74.
To Artificial Intelligence Relquin of Zoner Ore Extraction:
Many thanks for your offer of assistance. Depending on the stock of the repair facilities on Livadia, we may need to purchase certain ore varieties from you. We have quite a few research projects regarding metal concentrations and impurities based on the different regions of several star clusters - and we require samples to serve as our reference groups. On a side note, many of us, including our theoretical engineers, are quite curious as to how artificial inteligences have come to be - this is the first time we've ever even concieved the idea and we would be honored if you would allow us to study you or at the very least ask you some questions.
To Executive Officer Victor Cross of the Omicron Supply Industries:
At present, the entirety of our archives are hosted on our shipboard server - and all samples stored across several dedicated storage decks. While it is our intention to open access to the vast majority of our database of research and cataloged samples to everyone through the neural net - with the exception of certain classified files reserved for Zoner scientific interests first - our technicians have determined that the format of the data stored seems to have fallen from use in Sirius long ago, and has all but disappeared. Conversion from our rather uniquely obsolete code to a more commonly compatible format has been charted at aproximately two weeks, four days, and twenty two hours (give or take several days considering the unreliable nature of these aproximations). As all terminals within the ship operate perfectly - you and any researchers that you wish to have with you are more than welcome to access our databases in person, provided that proper biological quarantine protocols be enacted for both your safety as well as ours.
Thank you for your responses, we very much look forward to seeing you when we arrive at Freeport 10.

Captain,
I am most interested in these microbes and plants you have. Anything that produces new medicines is welcomed. Seedlings are good as well as I can have them planted aboard my own medical ship, Med.Force.One. When my medical team arrives, they will look at what you have.
I am Admiral Gideon Ravenor of the Zoner Defense Forces. First off I'd like to welcome you back home, even though I too do not know of whom you are. Nevertheless, our databases do show the Tanhauser as a registered ship, although the records do be old.
One thing I would like to mention, Freeport 10, the one you are heading towards, recently fell under attack by a new House that has appeared recently called Gallia. It is still in the process of heavy repairs and is still operating at 50% capacity. Although I am sure you could moor up in the direct vicinity of the Freeport and use it as a beacon and way station for freighters bringing supplies to you, I am afraid the station just can not handle your ship right now.
Do let the people over at OSI know if any of your crew wishes transport here to Gran Canaria, or I can offer assistance in redirecting some repair crews to get your ships engines to full operational status so that you may make the trip here to Gran Canaria.
Let me know if the ZDF can be of further assistance.
Ravenor out!

I am [The_Angels]Mortis. If you need help regarding the rules, the game, or just need someone to talk to, feel free to contact me on skype or PM me.
If your systems are that far out of date then I think we can be of assistance in that aspect. I myself am only interested in the data collected on unknown systems, planets, star, and unknown materials. I am no researcher or scientist; I am an explorer at heart and a business man. I'd be willing to help fund a refit of the Tannhauser with new generation equipment in exchange for said data.
I am also glad to see that the Zoner movement lives on in you and your crew. Once your ship has reached Livadia, I'll have new equipment shipped out to replace your dated equipment.

As far as I understand the situation here, the first requirement of the Tannhauser crew is appropriate medical cares. I don't have any knowledge in this area thus I will wait for Doc Holliday instructions to proceed. I could bring pharmaceutics, doctors, chemical components or even specific microorganism if bioculture are needed. Just tell me what is needed. I would be glad to help.
