No matter what dress she would wear, or the shoes she would put on, or the necklace that would cling around her neck, those silvery-grey eyes would always remain the same.
They would always posses this magical power, that would embrace my spirit and warm my soul during the coldest of nights.

As long as I still remained in existence, her life would be sheltered from any danger, her eyes would forever remain lit. Forever remain a shining beacon in my heart.
But I failed. Those silvery-grey eyes faded. Got lost in the dark.
How could I fail?
How could I commit such an unforgivable crime?
How could I let her die?
There is no chance for redemption.
When a life is lost it suffers an incurable disease.
