Konnichiwa General,
I send this message to you today with the warmest regards and hope for a long lasting friendship. I met two of your pilots today, and in our discussions, they directed me toward you and this channel. IND has been broadening our operations in Gallia, and we we have learned in the past that the key to keeping our markets open, is keeping the warm relations and trust of those we trade with. Now, I am sure other Sirians have spoken with you in the past, offering this and that, making all sorts of vast promises. I am also fairly sure they have not met those promises, or fulfilled those offers. We are different, we can offer you access to goods from across Sirius, we can offer financial backing that you can only begin to imagine, and we can offer you contacts to people you would not meet in decades left to your own devices.
You tell us what you need, you we will make it happen.
I know, you must be asking yourself, "All of this, they must be trying to get something from us, they must be trying to trick us." I assure you, we are not, but as I said, we have learned that harmony and prosperity make for good business, and so we aim for that, we want the groups we work with to be strong and stable. Why? We make more money that way. Don't get me wrong, we in IND have morals and beliefs, but at the end of the day, we want our friends to do well, because thats how we do well.
So, I offer all the IND can offer to you, you need just wish it, and we shall make it happen.
From:General Jean Quenneville To: Otis Jethro Subject: IND - Council relations
Good evening, Mr. Jethro.
Indeed I was notified by your company's presence in Gallia, and I have consulted the logistic manager about it. He knows more about Libertonian corporations than anyone in our ranks. Indeed we have been approached by various organizations and corporations, and some of them were less pleasant than others. We have been extremely careful when making such deals, because it is fairly obvious that there are many mischievous groups out there that would like to take advantage of our lack of knowledge. Still, we have learned much since our first contact with Sirius.
As you might know- or not, the Council has gained strength ever since the revolution, and many of the workers on Marne were recruited in our military. Still, it was difficult to acquire technology, and a good part of our fleet is obsolete. I'm talking about ship models older than our recruits. Yet, we've done a fairly good job in refurbishing and keeping them fit for combat. But we also need resources for that. Engine components, hull panels and robotic components are necessary in order to maintain our assets. Military equipment and vehicles, light and heavy arms are also needed in to defend our positions.
More over, there is always a need of food rations, pharmaceuticals and other essential supplies, since most of our controlled area was used mainly for heavy industry.
We can offer resources in exchange, such as platinum, prometheum, oil, tobacco and many more.
That's about all I can mention from the top of my head. Do understand that sometimes we won't be able to provide some of the goods mentioned above, due to the war with the royals.
But do take note. We will not tolerate the smuggling of harmful substances or drugs. Other dangerous materials and goods will require proper authorization from the Council, beforehand. We may be outlaws to the Royal Navy, but we protect the Gallic citizens. Failure to follow these simple rules will prevent any future deals with your kind.
Now on the matter at hand, will you be able to deliver the supplies listed above?
I'm waiting for an answer.
