Background Information:
EARLY CHILDHOOD
Helmut Schreiber was the only child of Hermann and Helga Wulf, a pair of scientists in the service to the Rheinland military. The couple were experts in biomechanics and were assigned to the Battleship Ausdauer. They were on a top secret expedition onboard the ship to the outer regions where they were sent to retrieve technology from the recently discovered Nomad race of aliens. Unfortunately the couple became infected by the Nomads as a result of their research on the captured alien craft. Under Nomad control, the couple never returned home to where Helmut at age 2 was still being cared for by relatives.
After a year with no contact, the family decided that the child would be better off as an orphan because no one in the family was suited to look after a child. The day that he was dropped off at the orphanage in the largest city in Stuttgart, Helmut never heard from his family again.
ADOLESCENCE
Throughout his years at the orphanage Helmut was enrolled in school, and despite the circumstances of his early life Helmut excelled at his coursework. His intelligence was greater than the other children in the orphanage which lead the kids to make fun of him. He began to rebel against authority and his grades gradually began to reflect his change of personality.
Luckily the orphanage that Helmut was owned by the Rheinland government, which had mandated that any child at the age of 12 who had no legal guardians were required to attend military boarding schools for eventual enlistment into the Rheinland military. This change of scenery most likely saved Helmuts life because once under the strict tutelage of the instructors at the boarding school Helmut regained his focus and he found the military life an easy adjustment to make.
ADULTHOOD
After graduating from the primary school at the top of his class, Helmut was immediately enrolled in secondary school to continue his training to become a future military hero. Upon arriving at the school he was immediately placed in the role of platoon guide, where he learned vital leadership skills that he still retains to this day.
It only took him four years to complete his training at the secondary school, where only a few more obstacles stood in his way of becoming a member of the Rheinland military. The first was of course the written exam that was required of all graduates from the secondary school, which Helmut passed with relative ease. Then came the combat simulation test which pit Helmut against a number of foes while he took the helm of a Wraith. This too he passed with flying colors, destroying or disabling all of his foes and returning to base with only minor damage to his simulated ship. The final talk was to submit his enlistment papers to the admiral for assignment to a company within the military.
Basic Personality Traits:
Helmut is a proud Rheinlander willing to put his life on the line for his country and his comrades. He is a loyal friend and a good soldier who will listen to orders that he is given. However he is a bit headstrong and will occasionally question to himself orders given him by superiors if he sees a more suitable way of carrying out the objective.

For how long have you been playing on Discovery Freelancer RP 24/7 ? I have been playing on Discovery Freelancer RP 24/7 for a few weeks now.
What made you come play on Discovery Freelancer RP 24/7 ? I have played Freelancer a lot in the past on other servers and was looking to get back into it. When I returned to Freelancer I learned that this server was really the last bastion of population left in the Freelancer community so after looking over the mods features I decided that this was the place for me.

What OOC reason do you have for joining the RM? I was looking for a lawful faction to join and I have played games in the past where I role-played as a German soldier in WW2 so German culture has always interested me (especially since I can trace my lineage back to German descent). Once I had put those two things together I looked for a proper fit for me and decided that RM was the better choice for me.

I was born on planet New Berlin.I was only child of Kaiser Family.When I was just a little boy my father became the Rheinland Military pilot.I was proud on him but my mother wasn't very happy about it.She knew that was dangerous job and she told him to find some other job in mining company or somewhere else but he didn't listen to her.He didn't mind for money or anything else ,he just wanted to follow his father steps.My father Klaus was very ambitious man and he wanted to became General or Admiral one day.Also he was family man.He always cares about his wife and mostly about me.
My Adolescence
When I was 12 years old my mother died because she had some bad disease,there was just me and my father.He was occupied with his job but he always tried to find little time for me.He want me to attend military schools just as he did.I didn't want to disappoint him so I always tried to be one of the best in school.One day my father Klaus bought me Griffin and he wanted to show me and teach me all skills he know.He told me they will be useful in training simulations in military school .I wasn't always wining but I was one of the best fighters there.
My Adulthood
Finaly I passed all my tests and all my training simulations and then I graduated but my father wasn't there .Some his mates told me he died in bloody fight with Liberty in Hamburg system.Liberty Fleet attacked Altona station.My father was patroling there and he didn't wait for backup so he decided to attack them alone.After few minutes fighting he died.I was quite in shock but i was very proud on him.Then i decide to submit all papers and finaly become Rheinland Military pilot
Background Information: Erich Rall (born July 31st, 784AS) is the only son of of Heinrik and Frieda Rall. Erich grew up like any other child dreaming of all of the things he could be. He was not a standout pupil in school nor a standout in sport of any kind. All in all Erich grew up a normal Rheinland child.
At the age of 25, while working as a mechanic for Republican Shipping on the freighter Raule, the vessel came under attack. The ship was transporting 72-ARKM-G3 "Banshee" fighters to a Rheinwehr training facility in Dresden. Instead of entering an escape pod, Erich launched one of the Banshee fighters, unarmed from the cargo bay and drew the Hessian raiders off by running interference. The crew of the Raule escaped but Erich was taken prisoner when his ship was eventually shot down. That day he learned that day he could fly a space craft
After being in the hands of the Hessians in 36 months, pure luck set Erich free. While being transported from a tertiary base to the Vogtland base in Dresden, the Hessian courier ship came under attach by the Rheinwehr. The Hessian vessel was disabled and The RM forces rescued Erich and his fellow prisoners. He knew from the moment he smelled free air that he wanted to ensure no other free citizen of Rheinland ever had to suffer the same fate.
After scraping enough credits together to purchase an X4TS "Tiger Shark" Civilian Light Fighter, Erich took to the stars to hone his skills. Over the course of a few years he had earned a good reputation with the Rheinwehr and just before his 33rd birthday submitted his application for acceptance into the Bomber candidate program.

The Luftwaffe was an interesting subject in school and I have long had an affection for Baron von Richtofen after doing a report on him for school when I was very young
Background Information:
Born on Planet New Berlin in 786AS to Hugo and Katrin Stautner. As a child Wilhelm was an average student. By no means does this mean he was unintelligent, his strength was in being a quick thinker with a sharp wit, as opposed to possesing an academic mind. Eventually Wilhelm became tired of his education, deciding to opt out of taking it any further, and at the age of 16 went to work at a Kruger Manufacturing Plant alongside his father. The job didn't pay a lot of money, barely enough to get by, and after his father retired in 809AS Wilhelm also had to support his parents. Luckily for him, after one or two years of struggling to earn a living his skill and positive attitude paid off and he received a promotion to Shift Supervisor. One particularly noteworthy event is his on the spot organisation of an evacuation for his sector of the plant during an emergency in May of 810AS, during which there were no major injuries or fatalities despite the sector he was in being one of the worst hit. This promotion, along with the extra money it brought, enabled Wilhelm to live a comfortable life for himself whilst still providing for his aging parents.
Wilhelm was only 14 when the Nomad war started and the events had a great effect on him. He was highly disappointed with the role that his beloved Rheinland played in the war and hoped that his house could one day redeem itself in the eyes of others. Even today: 17 years later, these same feelings drove Wilhelm to leave his job at Kruger and join the military to do his part in bringing Rheinland back to it's former glory.
Basic Personality Traits: Wilhelm is a charming man, and a patriot of Rheinland. He is known to be levelheaded and decisive in stressful situations and will not hesitate to act on initiative if he has to do so. Stautner has a reputation of occasionally becoming ruthless in his methods when he knows what he wants to achieve, which has been both a blessing and a curse.

I first played Discovery on a different server about one year ago when I was introduced to it by a friend. When I found out about the official server and the fact that it was a role-playing environment I started playing on it immediately and never looked back. I've been away from the game for a year due to not having the internet and recently came back to the game after getting a connection set up.

Despite being accustomed having to deal with mining pirates on a daily basis, one day a successful raid upon his crew by pirates portraying as freelancers managed to sneak past the outer defenses and sacked then destroyed the mining vessels. About nine-ten days. This is my third (second in discovery) coming though, I was here about a year ago and played a Corsair, and before that played on a rp fl server called jojo&dice many years ago.

Freelancer is a decent game, and Discovery keeps it going. And I like to have a atmosphere, not just pewpew, hence the RP.
