I'd rather keep it as it is to repersent the Gallic Junkers realising whats the point in hiding what we are anymore, apart from keeping there front to hide the illegal activities. which would also explain some gallic romours. And also be in keeping of the lore. By that I mean more likely to attack gallic unlawfulls then they were before Gallia was exposed to Sirius as such repersent there change in prorities of what they believe they should do in the Kings name.
Say example rp GRN would engage a Unlawfull because they are a traitor and a criminal. Gallic Junkers would attack a Unlawfull for those same reasons, and for the unlawfull causing problems to the the Gallic Junkers and there open interests as well as there hidden interests.
Issue is, by cutting your ties to the criminals in such a manner; you've removed any use to the Royal family you once had. They rely on you for information about the criminals.
At this point, the Gallic Junkers aren't super loyal. They are there to achieve as much power and wealth as they can. If that sometimes means doing something the King would kill them for, they will do it as long as they can cover their tracts.
Can still get intell about Gallic Criminal parties, but not like as a normal junker would, but they wouldn't lose the royal connection as there main prority is intel from Sirius. Not of Criminals.
Rumors suggest the Royal Government doesn't have a need for their intelligence services in Sirius any longer. I mean, the Royals are in Sirius in 4.86. Shooting one house up and trading with another. One facet of the Gallic Junkers will be to continue providing intel on Sirius, but that will be to a far smaller degree as Gallia will have a presence in Sirius, unlike before.
Another facet is the ability to gather intel on the criminals. You won't be able to do that if you are at war with them. Not like you could if you played the middlemen like normal Junkers do.
The rumors enforce the role of a group that play both sides of the table, but are wise to ensure they can't be caught doing so.
It does really through a spanner in to the cogs there.
However they are still able to get intel on Council as normal as they can still dock there. So in 4.86 with the Council moving backwards on one front and moving to somewhere where the GRN do not know about will be advantagous to Gallic Junkers. Also I will most likely expand Gallic Junkers primary areas to include Liberty systems, which allows Gallic Junkers the ability that GRN can't, as well as being able to do something in Bretionia that GRN cannot still do, being of demanding credits or cargo which can be very likely gold from Dublin, and haul it back to Gallia for refinement and smelting. Though in addition when 4.86 comes, my personnal plan of action is will be to still operate in Kusari, tactics will likely change like escorting traders to Gallia, and back and pirating of Corperations and Traders that are not bringing trade to Gallia. As well as the piracy of none gallic, none Kusari corps in Kusari like Liberty and Rheinland Corperations as well as continueing there war with Hogosha.
My only point is to not ignore one avenue of your factions role play. Currently the ID contradicts in game lore. There may be a reason for this, I've no clue. It is worth looking into in order to stick to what is in game now.
I shall conclude it here, and I shall direct a message towards the Dev team, Admins and Igiss to see why they have placed the discussed ID restriction to Gallic Junkers. And see what there view is and what they would like to see happen with the advent of 4.86 looming ever closer.
Skullz, I'm inclined to agree with Daedric on the issue with other unlawfuls. Gallic Junkers might not like them and they might not like Gallic Junkers, doesn't necessarily mean the two are at war. The criminals of Gallia shouldn't be completely aware of Gallic Junkers working for the crown with regards to spying on Sirians so I don't think it's wise to let that cat out the bag so easily. I think what Daedric suggested might be the best idea, hopefully the devs and admins will agree and the ID can be slightly tweeked so that Gallic Junkers can land on both council bases and other unlawfuls. Anyway let's see what happens.
Basically thanks to Dab with giving a large ammount of lore basically all Gallic unlawfull factions know that we are spies in roleplay, but do not know who is who with in the Gallic Junker community.
I have also moved all Unlawfull Gallic factions to being Unfriendly of some nature. Including the Council, who has there stance towards Junkers as Unfriendly.
I have also made a few edits here and there in the following sections:
Sirius
Strife
and Today
removed install and reworked info about Trade lane parts.
Included information about Nueral Net hard drives and the nueral net system as supported by lore.
And put in at parts to include lore of seperation from Sirius.
Done a few more edits here and there this morning.
Notable ones are correcting Private army to eye's and ears. A change has happened with the part after having King Charles in their pockets by putting it as that King Charles just ignores proof given to him about their criminal activities. And a few minor things here and they to keep in with edited lore that I have added/taken away from last night.
Moved Tau operation to Primary. And added the following aims and goals;
inrp = "To provide intelliegence to the various parties with in Gallia, be it false or true."
oorp = added to number 6 "(which at times is likely to mean shooting each other)."
and = "and there seperation." to the goal and aim 9.
Please keep in mind it is still needs to be fully proof read for grammer and such, which will be completed in time.
@ Deadric (posting here as i believe it should be as its not related to the thread where your post is from in what I am replying about)
I believe you may find this to be interesting
Quote:504937 - (Junker) The actions of the Council has plunged our whole faction into an uncertain future, where we now face the inevitable crisis that we had half hoped would never come. Aside from their leaders, the Junkers in Sirius have never heard about the Junkers from Gallia, and they became much more powerful and wealthy than we ever could, stuck in here.
"Aside from their leaders, the Junkers in Sirius have never heard about the Junkers from Gallia,"
So that proves that Gallic Junkers were seperated from many Sirian Junkers. So Hawks statements are rather valid.
