Alison had been absentmindedly looking out over the room, observing the folk who trickled in and out with a sense of curiosity.
"Wonder what else there is to do out here..." She said to herself. Ali gulped down her freshly delivered shot, and looked back over the table, glimpsing the newcomer's actions.
"Hhhey there! I can take her back home." Alison's cheeks turned the lightest shade of pink
"Less you care to take us both"
Twirling her hair between her fingers, Ali looked over at Kane, smiling.
Errant acknowledges Chris, gets up and heads to the bartender. He decides sporadically that he no longer wants another drink, redirecting himself to the glass view.
What he sees is all too familiar.
I know that Sabre... the light job... those strobes... but who is it...
A young, battered woman bursts into the bar and screams, "ERRANT! MOVE YOUR ASS!!" Errant salutes the attendees before sprinting after the woman. A Scimitar can be seen through the view recklessly strafing.
Lavinia's ear flicked back and forth, and she let out another small content sigh.
"Mmm..I...I know what you mean..."
She relaxed into Kane's arms, seemingly half-asleep in the hug.
A million dollars isn't cool. You know what is cool? A basilisk.
"I think you've had enough fun for one night, my dear," he whispered softly to Lavinia's half-limp body. He walked over with her to Alison.
"I think you should probably take her home... It's late, and she's... a little drunk. Unless, you know, you'd rather I take care of her for the night..." he said, still holding onto Lavinia.
Lavinia looked up at Kane, shifting a little, and she nods slowly at him, before resting her head back on his chest, her ear flicking against his chest to listen to his heartbeat.
A million dollars isn't cool. You know what is cool? A basilisk.
"Okay, my dear, what are we going to do with you, mm? You're slightly drunk, too drunk to fly, and Alison isn't done with whatever she's doing over there. Any suggestions? Or shall I just figure this out?"
