Two dagger ships approach the liner stuck inside an asteroid.
"Whoa.. how do you think this sort of thing happens?"
"Don't know. Don't care. But let's go check it out."
"Right."
The two small crafts enter through separate airlocks that seem to have been made by its inhabitants. The two pilots exit their ships, then head for the main hallway leading towards the bar. Both are wearing typical freeport clothing, but conceal most of themselves with a dark cloak. Upon seeing the entrance to the bar, the two pilots look at each other, then back at the entrance.
"Is this it?"
"Yes... Let's go."
The two enter, and take a moment to look at everyone in the bar. After about a minute of them staring at room, they take a seat at one of the tables and continue to stare, but every so often glancing at their arm.
Lavinia slipped an arm behind Kane's back, and reached around to hug him gently.
"Y-yeah...I...I wanna stay here...you're...*Quietly* You're all warm..." She said, her voice trailing off as she rested her head on Kane's shoulder.
A million dollars isn't cool. You know what is cool? A basilisk.
Kane smiled. "Lavinia, there's no one I'd rather be with right now than with you." He held onto her with one arm and looked around the bar. It was quieter than earlier.
Lavinia let out a quiet sigh, blinking at Kane slowly with a small smile on her face. The lights upon the ring-like implants in her ears, three near the bottom, two along the middle of each side of each ear, and one on each tip, flickered slightly, and she yawned quietly.
A million dollars isn't cool. You know what is cool? A basilisk.
Lavinia's grip loosened slightly, and she fell into the half-sleep that she had before, easier than she usually does; on account of Kane's warmth and the simple fact that he was -there-.
A million dollars isn't cool. You know what is cool? A basilisk.
Kane closed his eyes and let his thoughts fade away. He fell asleep shortly after Lavinia. The bar was gone once again. Only he and Lavinia were here in his dreams.
X watches Lavinia and Kane for a moment, before swigging the bottle of whiskey and walking over, as if it had no affect on him. He stood next to the lounge, stretching his arms and yawning. "Well, hello there."
