Every bit of his mind, heart, and body was devoted to one thing - Make that bastard pay.
People were practically throwing themselves out of his way. Everyone who didnt, was either shoved to the side, or trampled over.
Dupont. Amelie. Two of his superiors, and then that ingrate. The sight of the Directeur sparked a fleeting flash of a thought, a slight inkling of a redicision.
Oh well. That didnt last long.
Before the prince could react, he grabbed his coat collar, pulling him up to a wobbly standing position. As he felt him fall forward, Perrot loosed an upwards punch, sending him a few inches up, before the prince fell back down with a thud.
Sanding over him, still dripping from the water, he began to speak.
"I'll assume that...little spill was an 'accident', mon ami."
He scowled downwards, and then turned around, raising a hand.
Chloe smiled at Perrot. "And you, mon ami." She then bent down prodding the Prince with her cane. "Normally he's a well mannered young man. You must have really pissed him off. As for your dinner? Maybe." She stood a little straighter, looking to Amelie, who was desperately trying to be somewhere else in mentality. "And you. Bring me some coffee." Might as well throw her a bone.
"THE HULL HAS BEEN BREACHED AND THESCIENCEIS LEAKING OUT!"
She quickly stood, avoiding eye contact with her superior. "Y-yes, madame. Right away..." Amelie's view was of the ground as she walked over to the counter and ordered the drink.
She stammered when talking to the man behind the counter. "I need... she... sent me for coff-"
"I heard. We know what she likes. Et oui, I'll put it on her tab."
"Thank you..." she sighed.
When Amelie received the drink, she rushed it over to Dupont, bowing her head slightly in humility while handing it to the directeur.
A way a lone a last a loved a long the riverrun, past Eve and Adam's, from swerve of shore to bend of bay,
brings us by a commodius vicus of recirculation back to Howth Castle and Environs.
He wasn't really expecting that. But he pushed himself up from the ground none the less laughing lightly as he raised his hand to stomach and clutched it, watching the man walk off. "Punching a member of the Royal family, while his Royal Guards are entering the room." He shook his head and laughed lightly again. "Was the water that cold, Monsieur."
He coughed slightly and let out another laugh still holding his gut. Looking nodding over at Dupont. "Should promote that man. Good arm." He then shouted after the man as the man was walking away. "Congratulations kid you're the first to ever openly hit the Prince of Gallia. Go get cleaned up, and enjoy the rest of your life."
"About damn time someone decided to do that." He mumbled to himself, smiling all the more causally as his Royal Guard re-entered the room, the Guard Captain made her approach and whispered something in his ear, he then nodded towards the man that just left. Of course, he was finding all of this amusing.
Chloe took the coffee from Amelie, sipping softly as she watched Perrot leave. "Oui...a shame he has a very high position. If he killed you, I'd have promoted him to Directeur." Her eyes flicked to Amelie then to Joseph. "So. I take it your intentions were not to have the Royal Police sign a petition for you to never set foot on a Police base again, non? And I can also guess it wasn't to try and take a peek at Amelie." She sipped again. "Non...it was to wave your lower extremity about and behave like a brat. With all due respect, your Highness."
She smirked at Amelie. It was easy to deal with Joseph. You just had to roll up a newspaper and swat him on the nose. More often than not, he shut up and left. And Chloe had yet to be blacklisted by the DOS. So the guillotine was in no future plan. Yet.
"THE HULL HAS BEEN BREACHED AND THESCIENCEIS LEAKING OUT!"
Amelie nodded to the Directeur and returned to her seat.
She sat with her head in her hands, and quietly let out a long sigh. Mon Dieu... don't let this happen again...
She sat in contemplative silence, wishing that DeFrance wouldn't approach her again.

"If he would've killed me. My father would've had your head, his, and anyone else whose standing in this very room." He smirked a bit, "Never the less, behaving like a brat is what I do best, and your water here is absolutely terrible. Cold, oui, but I've had far better tasting water. Should look into getting that fixed."
He paused and looked around the room for a moment, "Non, actually I was here to make a little house check. I am the Margrave of this system, Madame Dupont, and I would love to know what's going on. That's why theres a rather large group of Royal Guards running about the place. That stunt." He motioned to the guy that just left the room "That stunt, was uncalled for, but amusing as hell. Keep your officers in line, or you're going to find that you'll be in short supply. I'm letting this go. Let it happen again, and I won't be as forgiving." His smirk vanished and he was now glaring at the Directeur. "Now that I had my little fun was ruined. However, that invitation to dinner is still open. To both of you. His smile returned a bit as he nodded over at Amelie and then started off towards the waiting guards. "Tomorrow, seven o'clock, Nevers standard time. The estate. Wear...whatever you want, and this time clothing is mandatory, as there is a young kid on the Estate."
Clothing mandatory. When did a naked girl show up at the Prince's estate? She shivered, not even wanting to know. "Amelie," She said rather harshly. "Do you have an evening dress?" She turned slightly, staring at the girl from the corner of her eyes.
Amelie mouthed something, her voice squeaking as she tried to grip what was being said.
"Non?" Chloe sighed, "If you do, good; if not, we'll find you something. As for Nevers? We'll have the Terrible drop us off." Amelie looked confused. Chloe made sure the Prince was out of the cafe before explaining, "Never say no to free food. And we can get what we want from him if we at least feign interest. Lesson two of the Prince: You can get more from him than he can from you."
"THE HULL HAS BEEN BREACHED AND THESCIENCEIS LEAKING OUT!"
