The only place it can come from is players.

If you're interested in paying the Police and Military to do their jobs, be my guest.

If not, then keep your ideas to yourself, the Admins sure as hell aren't going to hand out money.

Where will the money come from?

Tax? or some donation form Admins? oficial leaders of fractions? yes, it will be not fair to indie players - but maybe then they will be consider to join an oficial fraction.

Everybody are happy
- oficial fraction have a more active players.
- lawful forces recive a payment for the job what they do
- trader fractions are happy - becouse safety of systems will increase

and most of all - maybe when They will recive a payment, they will be more active, will do patrols with a joy.

Problem is the money has to come from somewhere, and if you're not totally aware, faction leaders have to make do as we do too.

So there is no where for the money to come from.

Not going to happen.

Not under the current circumstances anyway.

It's kind of a waste of the Admin's time, and besides, you're not supposed to RP so that everything makes profit. I play cause I enjoy this game, not cause I want shiny things.

RP means ROLE PLAY, everybody wants money in RL, Freelancer might be in the future, but people still want to have money. So it is part of the ROLE you PLAY that you want money. There is no better way to RP then create a realistic environment. It is much easier to work for money then to work and say you do it for money, but actually don't get any, you would need to act like you do, but it's much easier to act like you really would in a situation. As such we need that situation and the situation requires money.

Then start fining pirates instead of killing them.

Admins will never pay up, neither will official faction leaders.

Ever tried fining a pirate? It won't work, it will always end up in a fight and there will be no money, plus is it realistic to have a job and then have to gather the wages yourself, don't think so.

I play for Fun... and it's fun to fly one place to another, make few fights - but repairs of ship costs, Nanobots and Shield Bateries - costs, mines & rokets - costs, Armod Upgrade - costs.

Nothing is for free - so actualy we need a money, it's part of roleplay, traders do trade - becouse of fun, and becouse it bring a money, miners mine for fun and becouse it bring a money.

so why Navy and Police cant? now the only way for them to earn some, is or not doing his job, and escort a traders, or make small misions for 20 - 100k, or create a sec.char who trade.

If i want to buy a gunboat or boomer to my RM i was forced to make a trader who earn a money for AU8, better guns, shields - so I fly my trader instead protect a home system.
