Patrol Report
Name: Allen Bergmann
Date: 08/09/818
On my second patrol, I spent my time enforcing the embargo by stationing at Houston. I was with LPI-SWAT Jack Bauer, LMC Anna Lee. However, we were told to deal with an uncooperative outcast, Sophia. We told her to curt her engines multiple times. Only after opening fire, did she comply and was escorted to Sugarland. Two notorious criminals of Liberty arrived near Houston: Celadon.Gryphon and Azure.Gryphon. LN.VicThorn and LNS-Wolfcrest jioned in the battle. The two were flying bombers, and managed to destroy our entire task force. I managed to fight to a bitter end, but was forced to eject when a lucky shot destroyed my engine components.
Eh, sorry I haven't given a patrol report for a little while, I was wrapped in issues related to my life outside of the LPI.
Anywho...Well today's patrol was pretty simple. Only one major thing to report, and that would be a Corsair in New York. Odd, yes it is. But I did manage to destroy him in my Libby! I was going to help out a Bounty Hunters Guild member, name is Jack Walsh. I discovered that the 'Sair was running, so I just turned around and he chased me and opened fire. A little bit later...KABOOM! It was a good patrol.

Although I have not been on the force for long, I believe that I can take the responsibility of being a member of the LPI SWAT. Although patrolling Liberty in a Liberator Light Fighter is fun, I think I can do better than that. By being in SWAT, I will be able to effectively engage enemies.
Greetings.
Yesterday i went on patrol to find the San Quentin deployed near Fort Bush.
Together with two Navy Officers, it was questioning an Ahoudari Gunboat with Rheinland Missile turrets which apparently claimed to be a Rheinland spy earlier, and had already shot upon Navy ships.
The Captain of the Ahoudari, Edmond Alaius was asked numerous times to fly to Huntsville with his ship, with us as escorts of course.
He not only denied this, but also opened fire suddenly and destroyed one fighter of the Navy. 1
Due to this actions, he has been declared an enemy of the state and his ship should be destroyed if he should be able to escape and find a new ship.
Of course, his actions yesterday leeded to his imprisonment. 2
Well, tonights patrol was rather uneventful. I met up with RO R. Johnson and RO Barbatus in New York. We spun a quick loop around the system. Nothing to report. We then decided to head to Pennsylvania. We swept through the helium cloud and found nothing but a miner and a trader, both passing a quick cargo scan. After finding nothing, We went out to Sector F-2 for a little fighter pilot training. I had a go with each of the Ro's and discussed some basic tactics with them, as well as a few more advanced tips based on my own combat experience. Ill leave the details to their Following reports.
After a silent patrol with Officer Price, he showed us some advanced tactics against
pirates as he has already transmitted. The gun cam shots are here to see.
With this valuable information, we've thanked Price and decided to fly for a second patrol of our own.
As we were informed from the system channel, a civilian pilot with his brand new license was asking for help. We quickly jumped to planet Erie and pacified the harasser immediately. After a quick scan of his ship, with a surprise Liberty Police ID has been noticed on him. The civilian guy told us that this guy"REDWING" ordered him to stop and open fired on him, that's why he was so afraid as he did nothing wrong. Suddenly REDWING tried to escape from us but he tasted my CD right away. We got more suspicious about him, did another scan and realized he was also carrying a Recruit ID at the same time. He was told to dock at once and drop that ID by Officer Johnson, he is advised not to act like LPI's and to cause no more trouble.
After that we jumped to NY and patrol there a bit more hoping to test our flight skills against any unlawful. We have noticed a Rogue escaping from us, we stopped him and see that he has captured some navy guys in his ship. He "Natasha" dropped them with a fear and gone. We didn't want to chase him as probably he wasn't the big one we were looking for.
Strangely we have noticed that a large transport ship was standing near Fort Bush for hours without docking. As he was blocking the traffic of docking/undocking ships, we tried to start a comm. from every channel but he failed to respond. LNS_Avro_Arrow stopped to assist us. We have fired on his shield a bit to wake him up but still got no response. He"S.S.Great.Eastern" has got his ticket so bad and also he must be informed to authorities for a greater punishment.
Finally we have spot a suspicious Freelancer "William.Breen" and asked him to stop. After a scan we realized that he was another hired cop killer ! He refused to drop our friends pod, and started firing on us. Here is the evidence from my gun cam:
I have requested backup and R.Officer Abbot.Grey quickly respond to my call. He joined us in the long fight but he wasn't so lucky to stand against this skilled hitman, Grey's Liberator has been terminated first.
He began to fly on my six, I was trying to keep him busy on me while Johnson was trying hard on him. I couldn't get to his six, but hit him head to head several times. It was sure he wasn't new in killing cops, he took me too after 15-20 minutes. Me and Abbot Grey was successfully ejected from our ships and watched the superb fight between my buddy Johnson against this freelancer W. Breen. Breen decided to run away after a while, without saying a word. I'm sure he will be listed as an officially registered cop killer , after our reports. Later Johnson has beamed our pod to his ship and safely delivered us to Fort Bush.
Our first patrol was long enough as two and it was full of excitements with many gained skills. I believe it was a perfect start for us in the Security of Liberty Space.

Whilst it would appear that I have been shut in my office and unreachable..... I have been doing a lot of paperwork.... I have been reading the reports...... both the official and unofficial ones...
To say that I am impressed with what I have been reading and seeing is an understatement... Its been a long while since I have seen this much pride and professionalism in the organization...New Officers are joining up, Multiple officers being able to fly together, makes this old cop's heart get a warm and fuzzy.
We here in the High Command are aware of the unbalances in our equipment versus the foes you face everyday exists.... we are trying to come up with a solution for this... for now, the Magma Hammer is your friend... patrol with a partner.... and use the Liberators maneuverability to humiliate your foe.... a experienced Officer can make the Libby just about sing....Also, once you have attained the rank of Officer, apply for SWAT... we just had 3 people accepted, and I am going to go back and see if we have more....
As to the matter of the War with Rheinland....
Do be vigilant. As the war wears on, we expect that the RM will become more bold in their attacks. In the end, most of these attacks will fail. We all know you can't win them all. As more time wears on, they will also become more desperate in their attacks, and will also start using Mercenaries and spies. Be mindful, and most importantly, listen... You ears are the best intelligence gathering device we have. We do forward on all reports to the LSF and LN for further processing.
On the reports of Gallia:
We have all heard the rumors.... but we know very little. Again, be vigilant... if you scan a vessel and its nothing like you have seen before, get gun cam and sensor readings and forward them on immediately. We are gathering our own intel and sharing it with the LSF and LN. The more we know, the better.
The Ontario, Alberta, and Yukon systems
It seems the SCRA has taken a major interest in these systems, use extreme caution when dealing with these people. They are highly trained and have very good ships.
Additionally, be mindful of the political climate that is currently happening. There is a a rift developing between separatists in these systems and the Liberty Government. Be professional in your dealings. We don't want to be the catalyst for something nasty.
Combat training
With the War between Liberty and Rheinland raging on, many of the LPI's Officers have been called into battle to help hold the line. Front line fighting has never been our forte, but we need to adapt and overcome. As our foes gain experience, so should we. We have a few Officers who are qualified to conduct a combat training class. We wish to be able to hold a class per shift so those Officer's who wish to take it can. Once established, I urge all to take it. I will be.
Rescue and Assistance brigade
With Deputy Chief Riza Williams out on extended leave for injuries, I am appointing LT Amy McTavish as head of the R&A brigade. Many traders and Warships are needing rescued or assistance to make their Ports of Call. Currently there is no other organization that is handling this, so we are going to take up the slack Until further notice.
There will be Towing, Medical, and Firefighting assignments open.... More on this to come.
In Closing....
I wish to say that all of you make me proud... Keep it up
Deputy Chief Hull O'Brian.
