I'll just post my multiplayer online gaming habits of the past few years...
After various MUDs MUSHes MUXes and MUSEs I went to:
Shadowbane (early-ish PvP MMOG)
World of Warcraft
EVE Online
City of Heroes
Freelancer (Discovery)
"To gain a hundred victories in a hundred battles is not the highest excellence;
to subjugate the enemy's army without doing battle is the highest of excellence."
Too many games to list, but, the ones that pop in my head the most:
Silent Hill (I-III)
Vampire: Redeption & Bloodlines
GTA (III-V)
Painkiller
Sims2
Battlecruiser Millenium
EA (Hockey & Soccer)
Max Payne (I-II)
Some of the Geezers might get a kick outta this:
Sometime before the death of Atari & the birth of Nintendo I was given a stand-up cabnet arcade game for Christmas by my uncle who had 3 pool halls @ the time.
It was a lease from a billiards supply co. & I was allowed to switch it out every 3-6 months.
Joust
Xaxon
A pinball machine I can't remember the name of
Star Wars (the one w/ the X-Wing steering wheel)
Gauntlet
Rampage
Crazy Climber
Dragon's Lair
The gravy-train derailed in '87 when my "Hippie" parents could smell what I was hiding in the locked-up coin bay.

Igiss says: Martin, you give them a finger, they bite off your arm.
Before freelancer?
Well I was playing Pong and all that, before I graduated to a zx81 ( google it pups:))
Played about with various computers since,
Sinclair Spectrum
C64
atari st
amiga
then the world of PCs.
All the games I have played have been dungeon roleplaying sorta things. Remember Bards tale.
Not counting my geek days of Dungeons and Dragons, and Warhammer RPG ohh the memories.
' Wrote:I was on C&C games, and before that, was getting pro at the whole NFS series (before the crappy 5 and folowing that is)
2 was crappy... 1, 3, 4 were nice..... I liked 1 best actually, the tracks were best.... coast (or how it was called) and the mountains with snow.... you took each corner just once in the race....not round-and-round
And the Viper... it was just so....unpredictable, Lambo though... taking corners sideways.. mmmm.. good old time
