Aaaah, the good old days of my Rheinland bomber with 4x Excaliburs, just because there was such a surplus. :D
Ya is kinda annoying that no one can explore wrecks with all the dealer whores around.
Quote:I used to find codename guns by accident and go "wow I've never seen this before, cool!"
But with all the campers now who just want to farm money off them it's not fun anymore.
Ya that used to be a lot of fun on any server. One of the real treats of just wandering and exploring was to find a bit of treasure now and then.
Oh well some are just addicted to codie rapage. Hard not to be a bit of a money whore when things on Disco are so expensive. Always something to waste money on.
Patience is something you admire in the car behind you, but not in the one in front.
I honestly don't get why Archangels are so good honestly. Only 10 more hull damage per shot than Heimdall and Excalibur, yet they use 50-60 more energy per shot. On top of that, they are really out of the way, one of the routes which brings you through a guard system.
Personally, I roll with Heimdall. Easy to reach, cool visual effect, powerful to boot.
A few days ago i got my first archangel from the Oita wreck. I was happy because it was my first self-found
cody-weapon. Immediately i checked the wiki and i have to admit it: Good stats, but there are weapons, which
are more handy to use...
I remember way back in the 'dark ages' (4.84, possibly earlier) when codename weapons were only worth one or two million.... for the *really* good ones.
These days the prices are crazy, 10 mill for a codename that is obviously less than wonderful and is basically only bought because it is;
a) a codename, even if it's rubbish (as in 'look! I have a codename!')
b) has a 'pretty' fire effect.
I sold a pair of codename a while back, mostly because I'm too used to the fast projectile speed of 'normal' weapons and I sort of needed the extra credits. From memory they, were Jades, I think, can't remember how much I sold them for, around the 20 mill mark for the pair, I think.
Those were the last codies I've actually owned, I haven't bothered with them since.
