I have some Ideas for the next versions of Discovery
1. The rules for gallia should be changed since gallia is in war with kusari in the next version, so I think Gallic's should be able to fly their own ships outside gallia, I think that gallia would get more players then cause now you almost can't do anything there cause if you have a gallic ship you aren't allowed to leave gallia, maybe we can tweak that a bit, or that you only are allowed to leave if you have a gunship or lower, and if you have a -5 convoy, I think this would give more freedom to the players and makes playing as gallic more attractive. Maybe the gallic's should be hostile to most legal houses, sinds their goal is to destory a large chunk of sirius.
2. It would be cool if there would be a ID for Player Made Factions to, and discuss with te leader of the Factions what the people may do and what they May not do.
3. There should also be one Id that would make it legal to combinate ships and armory etc. and let you fly it everywhere in sirius, cause I think it sucks you can't make a really good ship only because your ID or Tag doesn't allow you to, maybe freelancers should be able to combinate all things for there ship sinds they are neutral to the most. I would pay a good 10Mil to get such ID
4. Maybe we can make a small faction with is only made by the people that do really follow the rules of the server and make it a care-taking faction, that can be hired for escorts and take care of rule violations, maybe this faction should be friendley to all lawfull factions, this faction should also protect all lawfulls and even unlawfulls if they are attacked buy people who violate rules, I think there would be some people playing discovery mod who would be dieing to be able of punishing rule violaters, and in this way the server administrators don't have such a tough job. also server administrators or the people of the care-taking faction should have some weapons to make there job easier maybe give them some restricted weapons only buy able at their base in their home system (I was thinking of a system in the omicron belt or in gallia)
5. Could there be a wingman system, so you can buy some bodyguards, of who the price variates by class, ship and weapons. Maybe make every player able to have 7- of these wingmans so you can make your own small squad, or convoy. This will make playing on the server and single player much more attractive for lonely players, and you can declare war against player factions more easily. maybe newbies should always have a wingman that is like a very good player, until the player reaches level 20 so newones won't be a pirating victim as fast as they are now.
6. If you restart in another house, you almost always have to deal with to difficult missions for your ship and abilities. maybe there can be made some newbie starting systems for all houses, to make it more easy to start in each house, this way there will be more variation.
those were the points I did wanna discuss, I saw a wingman system in another mod, but I can't remember the name. Maybe if we make a very good Idea but one that isn't reach able with freelancer engine we could confront microsoft with it and ask them to look at it and maybe create a game like freelancer out of it, cause left or right, freelancer is the best spacesimulation shooter game I know, but it would be cool of you needed to land on the planet manual and not by the use of a cutscene, and maybe they could make a feature that enables you to explore the planet surface by ship or the city by walking around, kinda gta like but then with added space function, I think if we can make a real good idea and confront microsoft (or if it doesn't look like freelancer to much another game creating company) to make a game of it there will be a really cool new game in the market, a game I would buy for sure!!

Exists for some factions. The ID comes after you've earned it.

You want a PVP server, I'm sure there's one somewhere.

You're suggesting server police with a blatant lawful bias. How about no? The Angels exist to help newbies out, but they won't get involved in fights, and that's for a reason. Likewise, the admins don't want any non-admins to have any sort of admin powers.

Won't be done, and NPCs are generally useless anyway (and I'm pretty sure it's next to impossible to fix that.)

Actually a good idea. Currently you can only trade in other houses (the CSV is remarkably resillient) if you want to actually survive, but some way to make early missions bearable would be nice. The CSV's firepower is passable in Bretonia as long as you're not dealing with those damn Legionnaire NPCs, but the lacking guns and agility really start to bite you in the other two.
Some things I really want in the mod:
StarWars ships (like fighters, bombers, freighters, transports, corvettes for GBs, small frigates like Acclamator for cruisers, bigger ones for battleships).
More equipment categories, as power core upgrade, shield upgrade, projectors, tractor beams, weight reducers (like in Crossfire, so it will not be the best mod any more).

Starwars... nah not very freelancery,
1 thing id like is upgraded graphics and sound a bit...

I have an idea, maybe not only me, but, what about new ship class, let call them mineboats.
Ship on which you can mount 3 or 4 mine droppers, and with special cargo for carrying a lot of mines (maybe some new special mines for this class).
Those ships could be equiped with 2-4 turrets (for example), with armor and shield like SHF, and agile like GB.
I think those ships could be used for making tactical mine fields in large battles, or to making a mine traps, or they would be usefull in transport escort.
Just an idea, hope, you'd like it
