'We could try in the south-eastern corner of Tau-31, it's relatively isolated from the battle near the Gate and Harris so Kusari Patrols are highly unlikely to find it, might I suggest Grid G8, the only problem would be that Kusari Battleship at Holman Base, but it can be avoided provided we don't use Lanes." he suggested lightly.
X was also considering Tau 31 in his mind. "If we have our base there we can cut down costs since there is a Planetform base, if I recall not so far away where we can get all of our life-support materials shipped from. Transport costs would cut down."
The Admiral cleared his throat. "We might be able to get a discount if we can promise to work against Gallic invasion, and hence protect them. However, that is a long shot. I would not recommend breaking information just yet."
"Also, I just received a transmission saying that the Storm has been delivered successfully from Coalition space. That was, faster than I expected. We should be re-fitting it as needed right now, and re-fueling it for special operations in the next 72 hours." X scratched his head. He now waited to hear someone else.
Katz folded his arms, looking pensive. "The Storm class gunboats are RECON compatible, we utilize a similar system to your own provided by Admiral Kelt, this gives them formidable range for sensor scanning... you might find a location that our fighter scouts may have missed."
He reached up to rub his temples as he mused over the dilemma. "I think locating a suitable site for the base would probably be prudent at this juncture. As for the meeting with the ICMG, I think it would be best left in Order hands for the time being... our presence tends to inflame the locals of late."
Robert moved his hands through his long hair. This was troublesome. Many branching paths, and the decision very tough. He spoke.
"Do we wait till the meeting with the ICMG before taking any decisions then? That will also allow more scouting reports to come in, and maybe the extra time will give us luck. Gods, Time is the one thing we lack!" He ended fervently.
Aqua walked into the bar jsut as Goldman made like banana and split. Aqua giggled and sat at the bar. Her dress left a good chunk of her back exposed, but she wasnt cold at all. She ordered a stiff vodka. It was a tiring week for her, and all she wanted to do was down a few drinks and go to sleep. She looked over to the bartender.
Robert snapped angrily at the guards. "Who the hell let those in?" he bellowed. A dozen of them rushed in, faces slightly flushed because of their mistake, and bodily threw both the woman and the man out of the room.
Outside, the head waved a finger at them. "You can stay out! Important business!" He said.
//It's still closed. It will open when we are done and I say so.
Katz smiled tightly at the Order Admirals, "Very well, we seem to have a plan, and know where we are to go from here. I recommend we reconvene when we have more intelligence."
"We will" Robert said intensely. His eyes glanced around, purposeful, and suddenly full of energy. Despite the late hour, this call had got them on their feet. They would meet soon enough, but in the meanwhile, Work had to be done.
