The bar's most common visitor is the radiated zoner monkey. Though, surprisingly the bartender seems to be not effected by the radiation, and remains human. Besides from the bartender, every other human is usually a tourists. The sign out fronts states, "Radiation adds to the flavor! All Mammals welcome! We serve all of Sirius's finest!"
-------------------------------
Jacques Vanshin stood outside the bar's doors, waving at the man in the hoody to come with him. When he notices him, Jacques enters the doors. Everyone turns to him in a surprised-to-see-a-human way. Jacques causally walks to the bartender, and nods, knowing what he was. The bartender pours him an ale, and the man grabs a seat and awaits the captain by the name of Seraphim.
Christopher just followed the man sitting across from Jacques in a suspicious manner not having bothered with a radiation suit for he knew he wouldn't be staying here long and the effects or at least major noticeable ones would take a lot of time to set in. "Well I take it there is more of a reason to why you wanted to come get a drink, or you just feel like getting drunk at the moment?" he waves off the bartender not being one to drink alcohol only on very very rare occasions. he looked at the man with narrowed eyes not trusting him or his story. "And I don't really see you where the radiation suit you were speaking of." his voice would be cold and emoationless having a bit of venom to it seeming more alert then any one else.
"Hahaha! You're a funny one you. Heh. Oh! The.. The radiation suit.. Oh.. Yes yes, I have it, it's just.. It's just in my ship. And.. I'm nice and seated here already. So there's no need for going back there now? Hmm? Nah. I asked you to come here and chat.. Well.. Because those damn nomads kept getting through my shields that's why! Hahaha!"
Jacques turned away and frowned, as if frustrated. He quickly turned back and pretended to be waving to someone else.
"Heh. I want you.. to try something! It's a wonderful, delicious, amaaaazing drink we have here. All the monkeys love it! And it's a bartender's special! Shall i get you one?"
He shakes his head."I don't drink... and why don't you go get the suit, I'd love to see what it looks like might need one after all if I decide to go for a walk here now wouldn't I?"He raises his eye brow challenging him. "And no thanks, I don't drink that often and this places is a bit funny."
He would have noticed him fake waving to some one as he followed the sight of the wave and the person had made a face that meant to be as a who the hell are you.
"Kinda funny though how we were right out side Gammu... and you decided to invite me to Primus after all the way you said... monkeys kinda made me think you didn't like them."He gives a sly little grin."Should we go to your ship.. see about the radiation suit?"
The way in which he would be sitting would be a old one as his left hand would be resting on his hip area and he would not have taken the bag off sitting down with it on just tapping the side of a case that was on his leg seeming to be a gun, meaning that he wouldn't trust him one bit being ready to quickly do something should anything hostile happens.
Jacques stopped the fake smiling, and began to frown. He leaned closer to the Captain and began to whisper while looking around, making sure no one decided to eavesdrop.
"I am not your enemy. If you want me to be, i will be, and I'll have you killed right here, right now. Did it occur to you that the bartender is human? Have you noticed how he is constantly washing the counter even though no one has sat there? Heh.. Not the brightest of us, that's for sure. But if you want to play this game then i suggest you take out him and the drunk monkey to the left of us."
Jacques moved his eyes in the direction of the monkey that that was obviously pretending to be drunk, passed out on a table but scratching his arms every minute.
"This is MY home pal! MINE!"
Several turned their heads, but then went back to what they were doing.
"But uh.. you're obviously smarter than i thought.. So if you want me to tell you everything, we'll go to a secluded place. But hear me now, I do not wish to fight you, only to make a friend."
He smiled a large smile, and looked around once more.
Christopher would roll his eyes for a moment still not relaxing and not looking shocked."Don't forget the equipment guy that is 'tending' to my ship and the guy out side with a gun ready to do a little number on me if I start anything to bad my bags in the way."He would take a look at him his eyes flickering slightly from person to person. "And really... if you want to make out hes normally here working, then maybe put him in a radiation suit."He narrows his eyes again.
He would be silent for a while tapping the table for a while with his right hand his left still on his weapon."Think a secluded place might be the best thing for you and don't think just because there are more of you that I am really going to surrender. If you wanted to play a game with me you picked the wrong person, I might look a bit harmless but those that are raised by the Order aren't always just basic pilots."
He stands up ready to follow the man.. "And next time you want to try and lie, it doesn't take a lot of brains when you use um and uh every two seconds when talking and you become exceedingly nervous, maybe you should work out a better story such as you were raised in a bio-dome protected from radiation... as such would be called a radiation barrier." His tone still dead set and unchanging,
Jacques nods, and motions for the captain to stay here for a moment. He heads back to the bartender. The bartender reaches down into a drawer and pulls out a carton of cigarettes and a pair of glasses. Jacques smiles to the bartender, then goes back to the man. He puts on the glasses, lights a cig and begins to smoke. He then leans close to the captain.
"Sometimes i like to look human. Hehehe."
He smiles, then exits the bar. The two walk away from the city, and into the outskirts. While walking on the sidewalk, Jacques abruptly stops, then turns left into a small forest of exotic plants. He moves a pile of leaves, and steps on a patch of ground, that turns out to be steel underneath. He squats down, makes sure no one is watching then opens the small hatch. At first Seraphim hesitates, but then goes with him down a ladder. Jacques plops down, then flips a switch, reaveling a small office-like room with a desk, research equipment, and paper scattered all over.
"Welcome! To the mystery room! Hehehe... You like?"
He just shakes his head gently looking around the room. "I don't like mystery rooms often not very pleasant places for me." He looks to a heating device shutting it off. "Rather this place be cold then warm, bloody hot." He would look for ways in or out and anything that may look suspicious
He would move his sleeve to his nose as he smells the smoke standing a good sizable distance from the man switching the heating device to cooling having the wind flowing away from him and sitting in its path so the smoke wouldn't reach his nose, taking the sleeve down again. "So first lets get down to business, what are you and I like looking like a human too." He rolls his eyes a bit. "But first lets start with your name shell we would be a good thing."
He would sit on the chair his hand off his weapon but he would be playing with a little metal object in his hand spinning it around having not stopped fidgeting since he had entered the bar.
"My name? My name is Jacques Vanshin. Pleasure to meet you. Heh... Oh and, don't worry about this place. It's just.. It's an old bunker that the original zoners used to protect themselves from.. nature.. And of course the nomads."
Jacques smokes one more time, then throws the cig on the ground and steps on it. He takes off his shades, and places them gently on the desk.
He shrugs not moving from under the cooler seeming perfectly happy there."Really... so how did he die and you yet to get to the part where you tell me what you are."he looks at him with a firm brow. "Seems like those Zoners though weren't to good at defending their selves being that they are dead now."he breathes in deeply."So more of you going to come and jump out from the shadows?"
