Sirs,
I regret to report the loss of my Avenger Strikecraft, to enemy action near the Bering Gate in the Texas System. Report as follows
Earlier today, I was part of a Fighter Flight attached to Secondary Fleet Dreadnought Codename "JudgeDread", we were responding to reports of very heavy Liberty Rogue activity in California, which the LPI was not equipped to handle at the time. We lost the Rogues in the Whitney Ice Field, about which time we received reports of a Rhineland Fleet entering Liberty, Via the Bering System.
Jumping to Texas Via Virginia, we found several Naval assets on scene. I rendezvoused with Sub-Lieutenant Thorn, the senior officer on site. Other Primary Fleet personnel included Sub-Lieutenant Dimitrova, Ensign Smith, and Recruit Zann. Primary Fleet officers processed all the Allied Bombers present in the group.
The Rhineland fleet had made it as far as the tradelane between Houston and the New York jumpgate. It is obvious that had our forces not intercepted, the Rhinelanders could have, and most certainly would have, continued into New York.
The size of the Rhineland battlegroup, 3 Fully armed Rheinland Battleships, with an additional Cruiser in support, necessitated that we not engage until a suitable counter could be assembled. We pulled off some distance, and awaited for additional ships to arrive. Call signs of the Rhineland vessels are as follows-
RNC-Munster - Battleship
RNC-Wallenhorst - Battleship :I lost sensor and visual contact with this vessel at 21:09:25 SMT. I don't know what became of it. After action analysis indicates that it may have been equipped with some type of cloaking device. I believe it probably escaped Liberty undamaged.
Toph.Beifong -Battleship :Note this vessel behaved differently than the others. I suspect it may have even been controlled by an artificial intelligence.
RNC-Kassel -Rhineland Cruiser
With the arrival of LNS-Fluffy.Bunny, command was deferred to Lieutenant Commander Redline
Several Secondary Fleet Capital Ships arrived on station, composed in part of -
At approximately 21:09:00 SMT, the Rhineland Fleet, apparently noting our massing forces, abruptly commenced a course towards the Virginia jump hole. If Virgina was their actual destination, or the jump hole merely coincidentally in their path, I am not certain. Either to a sucessful disruptor hit by one of ours, or their own action, the Rhinelanders halted, not far from the Virginia hole. Near this point I lost sensor contact with the third Battleship.
At 21:10:49 SMT, the Rhineland Fleet opened fire. LNS-Arkansas led the first assault, with other ships in support. Having little way to actually hurt the battleships with my Avenger, I did my best to follow and support the Primary Fleet Bombers, I commenced Razor fire on the Rhineland Cruiser, and attempted to present a tempting and quick moving target to the less disciplined of the Rhineland gunners.
At 21:12:27 LABC Finarfin was downed by enemy fire.
By 21:14:17, LNS-Columbus and LNS-Revenge had closed with, and engaged the enemy.
At 21:15:09, Secondary Fleet Dreadnought Codename "JudgeDread" was downed by the combined fire of the Rhineland Battlegroup. Human losses are believed to be high.
LNS-Fluffy.Bunny was under concentated fire, and several of us moved to provide support.
At 21:16:02, the enemy Battleship RNC-Munster was downed, followed an instant later by the Rhineland Cruiser. At this, the last remaining Battleship, the Toph.Beifong, began a retreat. Liberty forces began a pursuit, with some disorder over the Rhinelanders heading.
21:17:40 LNS-Fluffy.Bunny, with its sustained damage, returned to base, leaving Sub-Lieutenant Thorn as senior officer
21:20:52 Liberty forces cornered and destroyed the escaping Battleship.I was between the Hudson and Bering trade lanes at this time.
The threat from enemy capital ships addressed, all Liberty Capital Vessels returned to their other duties.
21:21:00 Recruit Zann reported hostile forces at the Bering jump gate. I moved to close with this fighter.
I arrived on site, and scanned the contact, a 90-ARKM-N45 "Wraith" class Rhineland VHF, call sign "Frantz.Bunny". He was already engaged with Liberty Forces, and I opened fire.
21:38:51 After surviving nearly seventeen full minutes against several Liberty Strikecraft, the Wraith continued to attack. Another Wraith entered the system, call sign Barent.Adalbert.
At 21:40:40, Ensign Smiths' strikecraft was downed by one of the Wraiths.
21:58:57, Recruit Zann reported systems failure and had to withdraw from the engagment.
The Wraiths took harbor in the Bering Jumpgate, using it as over from our fire
At 22:05:03, a nuclear mine stuck my Avenger, and I lost hull integrity, my ejection system activated. My pod was recovered after a few hours, by rescue elements from the Mississippi.
Lessions Learned-
*The large number of Liberty Vessels on one channel, severely hampered tactical coordination of assets once they were in place. The loss of the Dreadnought might be attributed to its commanders belief that his ship was being covered by others, when in fact, the ship went to close quarters with two Rhineland battleships without allocated support. Details had to be often repeated, and tactical voice procedure protocols where not followed. A lack of clarity in some transmissions led to several ships misinterpeting instructions, or acting on incorrect information. Smaller comm channel groups may have helped prevent this. In fluid engagements, this is of course not practical or desirable, however, in this case, there was amble time to plan the attack in advance.
*Lack of adequate fighter support. While during the engagement with the capital ships, this was mostly irelevant, once we engaged the Wraiths, they had an advantage of the Bombers present, and each one was at worst an even match for my Avenger. Though to be fair, the Wraith presence was indeed a complete surprise to our forces.
I take full responsibility for the loss of my craft to enemy action. My mistake was allowing my fighter to be drawn into the close quarters of the Jumpgate, making an easy target for a mine. A failed to realize my target had apparently been resupplied by his compatriot. I won't make the same mistake again.
If I may speak freely,
I was very impressed with the Wraith pilots, in paticularly the one that took me down. He fought for over forty minutes against a numerically and technologically superior force, and still managed to down at least three of us. I've gained a better respect for their Fighter corps as a result.
That said, their capital ships were easy pickings for our guys.

## Location - Battleship Missouri
It was my first outing in a Upholder bomber - after receiving orders from Sub-Lieutenant Dimitrova to quickly make haste to Virginia and purchase one. I can now report that with the private finance agreement that my father has signed with the Navy, I have available a fully outfitted Avenger, Upholder and Liberator to service the needs of the Liberty Navy as and when the situation requires. The Upholder and Liberator are being stationed at Fort Severn in the Ottawa system while they become fully guard rep'd. The Avenger is my primary fighter based out here on the Missouri.
That's four nights in a row I've been in combat with the Krauts with the primary and secondary fleets in Texas! Four nights of toil! When will we strike back officers?! The morale on Houston must be drained seeing RM battleships in-system near enough every night.
I shall continue to be available for defense of the Texas system. I am basing my Avenger in Missouri as it at a central location and can reach all parts of Liberty space quickly.
On orders from [color=#000000][BLANK] a joint recon operation was executed at 0115hrs 09.08.818 with Gold wing pilots G-[BLANK]-BETA-2 and G-[BLANK]-XI-7, operating alongside LSF agents [BLANK] and [BLANK] and Navy ensign J. Smith.
Objectives included:
[PRIMARY] Establish an understanding of The Joker's movements in the Omicrons.
[SECONDARY] Gain scans of Zoner vessel 'Persephone'
[SECONDARY] Determine intentions of Naval vessel LNS-Opressor in the Omicrons
[TERTIARY] Obtain 'Nomad' samples for research, to be delivered to [BLANK].
- Departed from Juneau
- Alaska and Minor traversed without contact
- Contact established in Omicron Delta with vessel 'Persephone'. Detailed scan unobtainable at this time.
- Contact established with target MU/97-TT 'The Joker'. Presence in Omicron Delta
confirmed. Vessel appeared to be docking with Freeport 11.
- Visual contact made with vessel LNS-Opressor. Intentions of the vessel are still unknown.
- Nomad samples gathered in Delta. Nomad presence seems to be far stronger in the galactic north of the system.
- Mission deemed a partial success. RTB issued.
Further notes:
Upon issuing the RTB order, scans were initiated of systems Omicron Delta and Omicron Minor, as per SOP. Multiple Order vessels were picked up in Omicron Minor, word of our presence presumably having reached them from agents on the Freeport.
Order admiral Osbourne contacted [BLANK] offerin safe passage through Omicron Minor to Alaska. This was deemed impractical due to the sensitive nature of the information carried on the wing's vessels.
Due to [BLANK]'s low fuel level, exit via an alternative route was impossible. Gold wing operatives scouted the jumphole and discovered Order vessels guarding it. Gold wing pilots set up a distraction, flying through the Order blockade to the system Omicron 100, drawing the order force to them, allowing [BLANK], [BLANK] and Navy Ens. J. Smith to pass through the Omicron Minor system unseen.
Hostilities were initiated between Gold wing vessels and order primary and secondary fleet forces (estimated two gunboat class, six fighter class) in Omicron 100 . One order vessel was destroyed in the engagement before the gold wing pilots disengaged and returned to the Alaska system persued by Order vessels.
Gold wing pilots defended the Libertonian side of the Alaska/Minor jumphole.
Data was safely retrieved as a result of the pilots' actions. Nomad remains have been delivered to [BLANK].
Recommendations:
- Continued observation of LNS-Opressor
- Scans of 'Persephone' to be gained by undercover vessels not bearing Navy comms insignia
- Continued Gold Wing observation of 'The Joker's opersations in the Omicrons.

Hale here.
We in the high command have recently been reviewing our ranking structure, to create a more streamlined and effective chain of command.
- In recognition of his excellent and dedicated service, as well as organisational aptitude and seemingly endless patience, Captain Jack Malrone has been inducted into the high command, gaining the rank of Vice Admiral. I expect to see you at Fort Bragg at 0700 hours tomorrow for your briefing. Congratulations Vice Admiral.
- Commander Mike Ypsilantis has been moved off the Naval reserve listings and back into the mainstream roster after taking extended leave and returning to active duty.
- Lieutenant Commander Tom Preager, Lieutenant Commander Christopher Hood and Lieutenant Commander Virgil Redline have been promoted to the rank of Commander.
Preager, your combat expertise and tactical knowlege are commendable, however I'd suggest you keep a civil tongue and treat your superiours with th respect they have earned.
Hood, you, like Preager have an excellent combat service record, you will need to work on your tactical thinking and theory a little in order to fulfil your new role.
Redline, you're a good officer... When you're on duty. I ask you to reign in your somewhat unorthodox command methods.
- Lieutenant Commander Rachel Baker has been moved to the reserve roster after taking extended authorised leave.
- Lieutenant Maximo Valeri and Lieutenant Samuel Zanders have been promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Commander. Congratulations gentlemen. You're taking on a lot of responsibility with this promotion. Don't disappoint.
- On the basis of her excellent service and extreme dedication to the Liberty Navy, Sub Lt. Angelina Dimitrova has been promoted to Lieutenant.
- Ensign Samuel Lennox has been promoted to the rank of Lieutenant. You've impressed us a lot Mr Lennox. Keep up the good work.
- Ensigns Matt Smith, John Smith, Dante Villers and Damien Jones have shown the dedication we wish to reward and the degree of responsibility above and beyond that we expect of an ensign. As such they have been promoted to the rank of Sub Lieutenant.
Congratulations to each one of you. It's good to see such dedicated officers in the Liberty Navy at a time of war. Keep making Liberty proud.

I take the rank you have bestowed upon me with gusto and lust. Gusto to do my duty, lust for more strudel ships to smash.
Myself and John have discovered that we may be related somehow, we're not currently sure - A distant uncle or cousin, perhaps even brothers such is the extent of the Smith name. However we are sure in three things, we enjoy the same ship loadout (*grumble* Even if he's better than me with a Mini Razor), We are both quite delectibly Smith-Strange, and he likes blue and I like red.
Red suits my persona, wanting to smash Strudels and etc - Blue definately suits John in he's always trying to rhain me in.
Either way - It is nice to get a bit of a tag team going on.
Thank you sir for the promotion. Won't let you down, now.. I need to fix the beer fridge. Blasted shot against the rear of my hull blew it out...

RE: Patrol Report
Sirs,
My first day on duty as a Liberty Navy recruit was a busy one! Off the California jumpgate in New York, I found the Hacker gunship Alesia.Rasing. I was alone, so I approached with caution, only to scan and find 11 civilian pilots and 2 police in her hold. I demanded their immediate return for medical treatment, which was rebuffed straightaway.
At that point, LPI Lt. Brannon came to my assistance. We continued negotiations for the hostages, which for a time remained unfruitful. After a bit, the Outcast bomber Celadon.Gryphon arrived, which set the odds against us. I asked once more, and very politely, for the hostage pilots - the captain of the Alesia.Rasing seemed to have issues regarding courtesy. At this point, the Hacker agreed to release the hostages into my custody. I flew them to West Point immediately for medical treatment, leaving the pirates under the supervision of Lt. Brannon and the newly arrived LCBO|-Constrictor.
Upon returning to the scene, Lt. Brannon challenged the Outcast bomber, and they commenced combat. LCB|-Constrictor and I, plus a couple of lawful independents who had arrived, kept an eye on Alesia.Rasing while the duel was underway. Unfortunately, after a time, Alesia.Rasing decided it had waited long enough and engaged Lt. Brannon as well. At this point, we intervened, but my ship was almost immediately destroyed.
My pod was tractored by one of the others, and I am resting comfortably in the med bay on the Missouri. I should be back in action in a day or so, they tell me.
Good day Fellow Officers. Today I was part of a Rheinland Reid. well it was hell the Rhenlanders Jumped us right before out fleet backup arrived. We were engaged at Planet Hamburg, I swear to god they pulled in the entire fleet against us. 2 or 3 battle ship and a half a dozen Fighters and GB's. It was hell out there we lost some ships but not pilots but the rheinlanders lost a lot of GB and some bomber pilots. I managed to take one down before the retreat was calld in.
Greetings to the Liberty Navy, Liberty Police Incorperated and LIberty Security Forces Pilots.
A few hours ago I had begun a Patrol In to the Colorado System, where at Pueblo Station I meet a guard working for Ageira Technologies. I had engaged a conversation and had learned of the following.
1- Lane Hackers have been increasing in Colorado
2-The Lane Hacker Known as Phate may be very active, however unconfirmed
I wish to ask you all to step up patrols with in Colorado, as it felt like the pilot who was guarding the station had not seen a Patrol there for a very long time.
