Cannoninical?
That a real werd?

Anyhoo, still, back to the original question then... WTF happened to the nommies and why they not om-nom-nom the new Sirius colololonies?
And yus, colololonies IS a real word, meaning the colonies from which lol-wuts are spawned.

I was formerly know as Spiritar.

It's been a while.

About the war.

Once the nomad city got done imploded, it sucked away half the nomad primary fleet see? So whatever nomad ships were left probably did cloak and buggered off to Iota. The rest of the "Nomad" forces were probably the remains of the infected Rheinland fleet that got done excommunicated from the rest of the nomads cos they were as good as dead see?.

As for the sun exploder, killer, doodad, dynamo....thing. How do you know there's more than one? How would we know if the one that blew up the sol was destroyed with the blast? Was it designed that way? Were they different nomads altogether? Am I asking too many questions?

It's all very skeptical amongst the community. At least until three people invent the nomad lore and everyone sheeps along. But I suppose you've got to give it some credit, they did a pretty alright job.

'Canon' is actually a noun when properly used, with 'canonical' being the proper adjective term. In Sci-fi and fanfic communities, however, 'canon' is frequently used as an adjective. Heck, I did it myself two posts back;)

Sol nomads were more advanced then Sirius nomads so they wt*pwned Sol with big bad ship.. Sirius nomads don't know anything about it..

Sirius and Sol nomads don't even know about each other, you can think of it as different race of nomads..

this is cool signature

That doesn't make sense. Nomads are all connected to the Mindshare. That's like saying Americans and Australians don't know about each other after the invention of the Internet and Wikipedia, only more so.

If they were both connected to the Mindshare, I would of expected to see that transparent sun-popper teleporting around Sirius, eliminating each system.

They were made in different places, separate from one another.

But do you have any actual proof to support that statement?

Yes. I haven't seen any of the sun-poppers, have you?

It says in the Lore that all Nomads are connected to the Mindshare. I've spoken with several Keepers on the subject, they say that the Nomad connection to the Mindshare has no range limitation. Whether you're a Nomad in Gallia, Sol, or Sirius, you are connected to the Mindshare.

Either the sun-poppers don't exist (which is most likely, given the level of tech the Nomads have in Freelancer (they only invented shields and cruise disruptors since 800AS)), or the sun-popper was unique and destroyed in the explosion it created (which is most poetically just, fegging lolwut that it must have been), or it's too big to fit through Jump Holes/Gates of any sort, and doesn't possess FTL (which is likely; I don't believe Nomads even had cruise engines in 800AS).

@shinwa

That's very... meh. I don't want to be rude but you're being very unreasonable.
