the following is all about taste - so there s no good / bad, right / wrong:
- the tail is rather strange. its simply scaled down to a spikey bit - but onion shaped instead of rounded.
- the hangars are huge - but only two blocks. - especially the front and side view displays no creative lining. - from the side, they are straight boxes ... and from the front, they may rather be bend down at the sides to create a / \ shape rather than a - - shape. it would help breaking the horizontal / vertical lines that dominate the model too much
- the difference to the current carrier is too little. - if there s a replace, it might as well be something really new based on the zoner lines, - the aquilon is not really zonerish ( it wasn t sure what faction it would go to at the time it was made )
all in all - luis has made some excellent designs already - but imo, this is not one of them. - this comes mostly from the proportions that i don t like.
its extremely wide for its hight - and appears too short somehow. - as if it had run into a wall. - if the there was more detail added to increase the hight of the ship.... and it was elongated by at least 20% - it might look much better, imo
Yes, you have a point Jinx. I still can come up with a whole different design, but this design came from the current one - which why I did not change most of the current design to this one. However, being that you said that the current model is done "quickly" or mindless rush work - which I was surprise from you when I read that part and frowned - it needs replacement and a better hitbox - PLEASE.
I have proven to myself that I found out that I keep replacing others models - yet not finishing it. Which I need to stop. Being that you design this ship yourself, Jinx - I'll leave it to your hands.

But most of the people I contacted are either busy, or just don't reply back. So I just give up. Launching fighters into the path of a fleeing ship isn't exactly a bright idea either.
And just because we can't use carriers functionally due to lacking game mechanics, it does not mean we can simply look past these things. Attention to detail creates realism.
