How does Codenames respawn?

Does anybody know exactly what that makes Codenames to re-spawn ingame?

Do you have to wait for a specific time after a wreck has been looted?

Or is it when the server crashes?

Need a straight answer. If anyone know of course. Speculations are always welcomed ^_^

Every few server reboots. Some respawn more often than others.

So next time the server reboots, run (or fly) as fast as you can to your favorite wrecks.

whoops. guess sleep is getting to me. i mis-read. my bad.

mind you, 2 of my characters now know most of the codes, some by exchanging info with others, some by exploring. its much more fun, and keeps the rarity of the codes as well..

thats my thought on the matter anyway

No, it doesn't. Discovery is about finding new systems, and where ships are located, and RP, stuff like that. But telling someone how codenames respawn after server crashes isn't.


If everyone had to find everything out, then no one would know anything. Part of Discovery is learning from people that know more than you.

All codenamed weapons respawn every server shutdown, but server crashes don't count.

Some codename wrecks can be looted multiple times, but most can only be looted once per character.

Tried and tested-- this is the way it works to the best of my knowledge.

No, I mean they can be looted over and over infinitely, as long as every time you loot it is after a server reboot. One loot per reboot. (Catchy saying, eh?)

There is only a select few of them (probably just a bug) and they are not very good ones, so it's kind of a moot point anyways.
