Sir, the Silverstorm is so badly outdated that it cannot be updated. We are going to keep it, but it won't be very useful. This is only temporary, and it will be scrapped and replaced at a later time. Meanwhile, requesting permission to have a Liberty Assault Battlecruiser, the HFBC Phoenixstorm, built as a temporary replacement for the Silverstorm. When the Silverstorm is scrapped, it will be made lighter.

It seems that the HFBC Phoenixstorm did not have to wait until combat simulations for testing. The Phoenixstorm was engaged by a Nomad, {Purge}.001, in Omicron Delta. The agile gunboat could not dent our shields, and attempted to flee. We disrupted it's cruise engines, and it began to fly in circles around us. We hit it with several infernos, and a well-aimed Mortar, and then destroyed it utterly. The Phoenixstorm is incredibly powerful. If it can defeat a Nomad Gunboat, a hard ship to hit, that quickly and easily, without even taking much shield damage, then imagine what it will do against a Battleship, which cannot avoid the duel Mortars. I do not believe the hostiles stand any chance. The foes of the Legion will be utterly obliterated.

HFBC Phoenixstorm chased the South Alliance Carrier LNS Las Vegas from Omicron Minor and into California. Destroyed two Research Bases on Califonia Minor while hostile hid and refused to fulfill his duty to protect California Minor. I told him the story of our exile. Finally showed up, claiming we should have just sat down and let ourselves be shot. Weapons malfunction (ooc: crash had messed up my weapons groups) caused infernos to be useless. When we could begin firing, hostile had severely damaged our shields. Opened fire. Hostiles shields were removed. Began pounding with mortars. Hostiles hull taken to half. Phoenixstorm badly damaged, retreated to Phoenix Shipyards. (ooc: death)

Next we turned our attention to the LNS Missouri, which ran almost immediately. I chased it down single handedly to Manchester where a Corsair Osiris attacked it. The Osiris pilot however... was a pathetic one to put it lightly. So I was again fighting the crack battleship pilot alone. And due my bomber's limited capabilities I could not kill it.
