::Officer's report Subject was detected along Manhattan-W.P. lane and hailed my vessel at 01:72. I investigated the situation to find subject hailing from a "Crow" heavy fighter. ID was consistent with that of a pirate. Subject claimed to have several pilots' escape pods on board, and wished to return them. Upon further scans, suspect was found to be carrying six Liberty Navy pilots, four Liberty Police pilots, and three civilian pilots. Suspect also was found to be carrying several bits of scrap metal as well as a small quantity of neon.
Upon demanding the release of the captive pilots into police custody, suspect placed a ransom of 500 million credits on the captives. I demanded the captives' release twice more before suspect began to flee the scene. Fearing for the safety of the captives, I opened fire on the suspect's vessel. Suspect stopped and returned fire, leaving minor damage to my ship's hull.
From there, a dogfight ensued. A nearby LSF agent responded to the scene and, though initially slow to the punch, engaged the suspect in his Liberator-class fighter.
It was on one of my last remaining missile salvos that all six of my projectiles simultaneously struck the suspect's fighter, quickly obliterating the shield and punching a gaping hole straight through the ship's drive. The subject jettisoned before further ship destruction, and the captives were successfully recovered via tractor beam. Subject was delivered to central booking, Manhattan; captives were taken into the custody of officers at Open Hands Medical Center for examination and release.

Did a patrol of New York, Pennsylvania, Colorado and Illinois today, starting from Norfolk Shipyard and went to
Planet Manhattan via Fort Bush and Pitthsburgh. I didn't hear or see anything interesting on my way there,
except the usual nutters in system comms talking about "how to join the order" and "being stuck in a certain minefield".
Oh well. I ignored them and blissfully continued on my patrol. Upon arriving on Manhattan, however, I saw a real threat;
A Rogue gunboat sitting in Manhattan orbit. He fled nine or so K from the scene when I arrived,
saying that "he just had some business to attend to". I politely asked him to get the heck out of Manhattan airspace,
which he then promptly refused to do for about ten minutes until a Navy Gunboat arrived. The Gunboat engaged the target,
but he rather quickly succumbed to the Rogues superior anti-GB weaponry.
I luckily managed to beam up the escape pods of the crew before the Rogue, and dropped them off at West Point
on my way to the Pennsylvania System. I also called in some backup (A Dreadnought, to be precise) to the
scene before I left.
There really wasn't anything worth mentioning in Pennsylvania, except, well, the usual helium miners. As usual.
I then headed up to Colorado, taking the "scenic route" via Pueblo and the Rio Grande. After that I headed to
Illinois, and dropped off the fifteen or so Rogue and Xeno prisoners that I had picked up on my patrol at Police Plaza.
PS: I've also acquired a new fully equipped Heron for the Trade Division, FYI.
I'll see if I can't get that off the ground in proper within the end of the week.

<strike>//Not really. My image host just went down permanently; People should look trough their posts and correct
any broken images, since I see a lot of you've been using my upload of the "transmission detected" and
"transmission ends" pictures; all those are dead now. I probably won't upload any new images until I've
found a new host and some way to migrate all my old ones.</strike>
Greetings.
Seems like i forgot to press the "send"-button on my latest report.
Anyhow, with a little delay, here it is:
On the 23rd September, i launched from Houtson, Texas after we heard a rather loud distress call about a small Rheinland invasion.
The distress call proofed to be wrong somehow, it seemed as if Rheinland was throwing on a full scale invasion with three Battleships, 1 Cruiser and 1 Gunboat, as well as several fighters and bombers.
Due to the constantly arriving reinforcements and leaving of heavily damaged ships, i somewhat lost overview about our forces.
The devilknowsthenumber battle for Texas went victorious for us.
However, i myself am not entirely sure if we'd have won that quickly wouldn't the Hellfire Legion have arrived with numerous ships to help us defending Liberty.
While they surely want to see some changes within Liberty and follow a violent way, they also do not want that Rheinland overtakes Liberty and thus apparently might even help us in the following battles to defend Liberty from the Rheinland threat.
One more thing, upon launching from Houston, i found some strange organic objects within high orbit, and of course secured them. After the fight, i handed them over to the LSF agents present, they seemed to be somewhat happy.
Devin walks into Deputy Smith's office and slams down a manila filing folder and hands him the coffee he called for earlier. Inside the folder there is a well typed out patrol report, with a voice recorder attached to it. The report read:
Name: Devin Travors Rank: Sergeant Date: September 25th, 818 A.S.
What a day...Sorry about delays with my other reports, I've had issues with a death of someone I know. Anyhow, todays patrol went well. First I met a 'Pirate' who was pirating people for jokes, rather than money. Here's the voice recording, press play on the recorder.
Not a single shot was fired on this patrol. This concludes this report.
Under the papers about reports, John finds a small letter with his name on it.
Liberty Police, Inc. Position Change Application
Name: Devin Travors Date: September 25th, 818 A.S. Division: Liberty-Wide Current Position: Sergeant Desired Position: Detective Reason: We have next to no detectives around this place. I feel that if I become a detective, I'll be able to go undercover in a Junker base and see what I can dig up on a case that I'm assigned to, use forensic sciences to track down murderers and drug lords, and even make big drug busts that'll earn us more money. I feel I'd fit the role of detective quite well, and I can prove this.
At about 2130 SMT+1 yesterday (27/09/818) I received and responded to an emergency transmission originating from Planet Houston, Texas, requesting immediate backup against a Rheinland invasion force
consisting of two battleships, a Cruiser, and an unknown number of gunboats and fighters; when I arrived at
the scene in the Oakdale about 14 hostile ships were idling in Houston orbit, waiting for one of the sides to open fire with their
capital ships; at the time our odds were looking rather grim, with a single Dreadnought, a Cruiser, two
gunboats including myself were in holding patterns at Houston awaiting reinforcements. The two or three
fighters on our side had already engaged the enemy, and were outnumbered about 8 to 1, so we couldn't wait
much longer and finally decided to open fire on the two Battleships at long range; we easily took out both
when a our reinforcements consisting of two or three dreadnoughts arrived at the scene; we suffered no
losses in the process.
At this point, the scales were quite rapidly shifting in our favor, so some of the capital ships left and resumed
guard duty in the other core systems. I personally stayed and attempted to assist the fighters and remaining capital ships against the remaing Rheinland force, consisting of about ten fighters. This went rather well, and
I scored a kill on one of the fighters; I was, however, rather close to going down on multiple occasions; I and
my crew, would, in fact, have had to eject if it wasn't for the capital ships that sent me some nanobots now
and then. Unfortunately I got some reports regarding friendly fire at the end of the engagement: Apparently firing missiles into large furballs with friendlies in 'em wasn't such a good idea. Oops. Nobody was seriously
injured, though.
The Everest from Ageira also did a short stop at Houston during the engagement, stopping at Houston so
it's escort could catch up; they told me they were doing some "lane maintenance" in Rheinland space.
-
Next morning, after a break on Houston for refuelling and repairs, I did half an hour or so of embargo duty
in Texas. The only embargo breaker I got was a Border Worlds transport, the "Beijing", carrying Superconductors heading toward Rheinland Space. He refused to respond to all hails, and, after giving him
a good lot of warnings we (the Oakdale and a Navy officer named "The Sureshot")... Well, he fled, so we didn't do anything. God damn it. If you ever see him in space, tell him that he owes us a five million fine for
embargo breaking.
After that I saw two Cruiser and a Dreadnought flying into Houston and the captains of the respective vessels
ejecting; I have no idea why they'd do that, but I picked them up and dropped them off at Planet Manhattan,
where I ended my patrol.

Subject: Patrol/Battle Report
Location: Fort Bush, New York
Started my patrol today from Police Plaza today, heading towards New York via Pueblo Station and the Rio
Grande in Colorado. I started my patrol of New York at Fort Bush, and headed towards Manhattan - nothing
interesting yet. West Point was a whole new story though... There was about seven hostiles, mainly Coalition,
and a rapidly dimnishing bunch of lawfuls. I stayed outside of the battle for a few minutes while I tried (and
failed) to assemble some backup; after I'd sent an emergency notification to nearly every channel that I could
think of, I jumped into the fight. And, damn, that was a long fight.
In the end there weren't really any winners; after the almost three hour long fight both sides were out of ammo,
out of nanobots, out of shield batteries and quite tired, and the fight had pretty much been a stalemate for the
last half-hour, so the SCRA decided to leave the area and Liberty (almost) peacefully while they could. It was
one of the best fights I'd had in a while though, and I'm extremely grateful to everyone that fought alongside
me for so long, especially a certain Junker gunboat that decided to give us a hand after watching for a while.
Was undergoing final tests of new armor in Liberator outside of Police Plaza when contacted by Lieutenant McTavish. Was instructed to fly to the New York system badlands.
Upon arriving, I found Lieutenant McTavish already engaged with a unknown rogue bomber. After a prolonged dogfight, the rogue vessel was damaged, and forced to flee. Cruise disruptors were countered and the ship entered cruise, fleeing deep into the Badlands.
I was instructed to continue on and file a report when finished.
